    PROJECT PLAN METHOD STATEMENT


    INTRODUCTION

    The Project Plan Method Statement has been produced by Alfager Al Jadid for the construction
    of 185 KPW solar cells in Port of Sohar. Prior to the construction phase of development a
    Construction Method Statement shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the local
    planning authority. The Method Statement shall cover all the prescribed plan on implementation
    by Alfager during the course of the project.
    The Method Statement sets out the installation method for the Solar Panel Installation Alfager
    will adopt and implement throughout the construction phase.
    There will be additional documentation which will be done by Alfager as stand alone reports and
    are to guide on-site activities for the consented Solar Panel Installation at Port of Sohar.
    The Method Statement has been prepared by Al Fager Al Jadid to identify the construction
    methodology and that work conducted, adheres to best practice construction methodologies /
    techniques for the consented Solar Plant installation at Port of Sohar

    Duration of Work

    The expected duration of work is 3 – 4 weeks after material delivery

    Alfager will ensure the following general conditions :-

     Personnel have a responsibility to conduct work in a safe manner.


     Appropriate warning signs will be used on site were relevant – these may include, but are not
    limited to:
     Hard Hats To Be Worn
     No Entry to Unauthorized Persons
     All operatives will be made aware of the site specific fire evacuation procedures during the site
    induction.
     Appropriate PPE will be worn by all individuals on site during the period of works, including hard
    hats, high visibility vests, and safety footwear, as well as gloves and goggles will be used.
     All persons overseeing the installation work will be experienced with, or have had specific
    training on, working with such systems.
     Appropriate precaution mechanism will be ensured for all the people who will be handling PV
    Panels and allied electronic equipment’s.
