1. ARTISAN’S VILLAGE, JAIPUR (RAJ.)

INTRODUCTION:

 I have chosenARITISAN’S VILLAGE at JAIPUR as my thesis topic there is a site in


JAIPUR which is proposed for recreational space which I would like to select for my
thesis topic.

IMPORTANCE OF THE SUBJECT:

 The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics. It


encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression,
including music, literature, photography, sculpture, and paintings.

 To establish a centre for the preservation and promotion of traditional performing and
visual arts. Various art-forms in the traditional idiom will also be promoted as part of
the centre cultural programmers. To establish, equip and maintain art schools,
auditorium, libraries, archives, museums, studios, workshops and other facilities
necessary to fulfill the above objectives and provide recreational facilities.

 AIM OF THE SUBJECT:

 To study the planning standards of recreactional space for design.


 To study and analysis the advancement in circulation patterns in interactive
spacelike haat bazaars , kala kendriya etc.

OBJECTIVES:

 To highlight the quantity and uplift the quality of art works and promote the
appreciation of art in the city.
 To establish a centre for the preservation and promotion of traditional
performing and visual arts. Various art-forms in the traditional idiom will also
be promoted as part of the centre cultural programmers. To establish, equip
and maintain art schools, auditorium, libraries, archives, museums, studios,
workshops and other necessary facilities to fulfill the above objectives and
provide recreational facilities.

SCOPE:

 To understand relationship between built and open spaces.


 The design would focus upon landscaping and would stress upon the
relationship with its immediate surrounding.

LIMITATIONS:

 The environment is not fair able.

The Jaipur haat has been designed on the model of ‘Dilli Haat’, a festive food and
craft market reminiscent of the traditional Indian bazaar.
In keeping with the stylistic continuity of the existing buildings on site, the new
buildings draw references from the traditional architecture of Jaipur.
An amphitheatre and food court will be built in the second phase of the project.

2. EXHIBITION CONVENTION CENTER AT DWARKA

INTRODUCTION:

 I have chosen convention centre as my thesis topic there is a site in Delhi. which is
proposed for convention centre which I would like to select for my thesis topic.

 The New Delhi Exhibition and Convention Center (ECC), a flagship project of
Government of India, is envisioned as a “World Class”, transit oriented, mixed use
district, providing one of the largest facility of its kind in India and Asia. New Delhi
being the nation’s capital and the commercial nerve centre of northern India; it is one
of the most productive business locations in India. Despite its sustained levels of
growth and immense economic potential, there are very limited opportunities
available in the NCR in terms of organized exhibition or large scale conference space.

IMPORTANCE OF THE SUBJECT:

 In this world of industrialization, convention centre is a need of people because they


get everything in a single building like a small city in one building. The centre will
comprised studios, five-star restaurants, art gallery and exhibition centre with latest
technology

SITE SELECTED:

 The site proposed at Dwarka delhi.

Site Positioning & Connectivity


The site is strategically located in close proximity to the Indira Gandhi
International Airport, with fast and efficient transit connections to the City, the
downtown areas of Delhi, and the suburban/satellite hubs of Gurgaon and Noida
from the neighboring states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, respectively. The site
also has Delhi–Ahmedabad main railway approx 300 mts from the eastern side.
The nearest station from site is Bijwasan Railway Station at an approximate
distance of 3 km. This railway line connects the south-west parts of the NCR
with Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab.

INTRODUCTION:

 I have chosen RESORT as my thesis topic there is a site MADHYA PRADESH which
is proposed for RESORT which I would like to select for my thesis topic.

IMPORTANCE OF THE SUBJECT:

 Eco resort produce the environment benifical local community and help guest learn
about the local surroundings.
 True eco resort not only offers eco friendly sighting but only the
accommodation,transportation .
 Eco resort are not only for leisure but offer tourist a complete eco experience.
AIM OF THE SUBJECT:

 To study the planning standards of recreational environment through varieties


of facilities and functions..
 To provide all about the aterial and technology regarding the sustainability in
design .

OBJECTIVES:

 To study the various material related to sustainability .


 To study the knowledge regarding green design will apply integrated energy
system.
SCOPE:

 The scope of project are the eco resort with recreational facilities .
 They intended to go some distance far from city so that they can enjoy the
environment .

LIMITATIONS:

 Their will be limited research and study on feasibity of project and detailed site
suitability will not be analyzed
 The project will not cover detail related to green design though research will
done according to architectural requirement
