RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Socrative is a website hub where teachers can assign activities / polls / quizzes / etc. for students and can collect informational
data in an instance for quick feedback. Students would use either a phone, laptop, or tablet to engage with the classroom online.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your classroom, or among
students and others outside of the classroom?

I would really like to use this website for general class bell-work and exam review games. As well, I can use this to provide
feedback to students quicker after they take a quiz, for instance. Instead of me having to take a whole weekend to grade things
individually. Students can also use this platform to work together on group assignments (such as that stated above).

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

For Socrative, and for my personal opinion as it relates to my content area, I would rate this integration technology as a 2
(sometimes a 3 depending on the lesson). Since Math is becoming one of the easiest subjects to integrate online, I see myself
using this technology daily in the class where it would be difficult to not use it. Socrative is a great tool for students and the
teacher to collaborate in an online format that would allow me to teach the days objectives / sub objectives / lessons / etc.
