II. BODY
A. Do What You Can To Build Up Your Faith
( I John 5:4}
1. We overcome through faith
2. We are as effective as our faith enables us to be
3. Take time to develop strong faith
a. Take time to read the bible daily
( Rom.10:17)
b. Take time to pray ( Mark 11:22-24)
c. Take time to be alone with GOD
( Mark 14:32-41)
4. Exercise your gifts by becoming active in your
church
5. Exercise your faith and it will grow
6. Expect God to come through for you
B. Do What You Can to Build Up Other Believers
( Rom. 14:19)
1. We are all to edify ( Build up) one another
2. Don’t focus on the faults of other believers
a. Never speak negatively of them
b. Look for the best in them
c. Christian aren’t perfect…just forgiven
3. Don’t cause another to stumble(14:21)
a. Consider weaker members of God’s
family
b. Let concern for these govern your
conduct
4. When others are overcome,restore them
(Gal 6:1)
5. Bear one another’s burden(Gal.6:2)
6. Be an example to other believers
