    Congratulations and Welcome to 2nd Year!

    First of all, I want to start off by scaring you and saying na ang kalisod sa 2nd year kay
    times 3 sa First Year. Why? Because that mindset helped me survive 2nd year 1st Sem. Halos
    tanan subjects kay major na. Bar subjects naman gud tanan. NatRes ra siguro maconsider na
    minor.

    BUT, Ayg tuo na di kaya ma survive ang 2nd Year 1st Sem na way bagsak. Kaya man
    basta maningkamot. ☺ Strike a balance lang jud between strategy and diligence. (2nd year 1st
    sem guide ra ni ha kay wa pa koy locus standi mag share about 2nd sem kay wa pa niabot tanan
    akuang grado..haha).

    Best thing to do now is to read in advance. Ngano? There will not be enough time for
    everything na during the sem. Maski 10 pages a day or one case a day ra gud para
    makabakasyon and makapahuway gihapon kag taman for Summer. You won’t regret reading in
    advance, promise. Ang top 3 jud na akuang ma suggest na basahon in advance are:

    • CRIMPRO – Use LA TSN


    • PROPERTY – Use Paras
    • SALES – Tung case list ni Ma’am. Di man kayo to ga change. If naa, gamay ra. (I
    attached sa e-mail ang latest course outline ni Ma’am. Kabalo ko hugaw pero
    bawal mag judge. Haha)

    Also, here are some prof and subject-specific tips for 2nd year 1st Sem especially kung sa
    2Manresa ka ibutang ☺

    Subject and Most Effective Tips


    Professor Material/s (For Me)
    Atty. Batacan Paras Book Read the book in advance then paminaw sa
    PROPERTY CODAL lecture. Si sir Ed ay murag si Atty. Buena mag
    5 units lecture. Gina highlight lang ang important. Pati
    (Si Atty. Suarez for sa exam, especially sa prelims, kato pud
    SR) nagagawas. Buotan sya and di na sya terror
    pero ayaw kumpyansa kay akuang Final Grade
    sa iya way plus. All exams divided by 4 lang. So
    careful jud.

    *For exams: Book (especially tung iyang gi


    highlight as important), CODAL (MEMORIZE!!!),
    TM Notes (Kalat ni na notes ni Sir Ed pero
    NEVER make him feel na naa moy copy kay di
    sya ganahan), Past Exams
    Atty. Suarez Book ni Atty. Suarez 2nd year experience is not complete without her.
    CRIM PRO LA TSN Haha. And she expects you to know her rules
    3 units CODAL even without her telling you. Some of her rules:
    (Si Atty. Europa for • Wear ID all the time, maski wa ka sa
    SR) sulod sa classroom
    • Dress well (sa amuang 1st day of class,
    gipaadto mi sa atubangan tas gi check
    niya ang propriety sa amuang attire)
    • Don’t wear YELLOW (she hates that
    color)
    • When reporting/reciting, NEVER use
    petitioner or respondent, gamita ang
    name mismo sa petitioner ug
    respondent. Kung daghan, ingna lang
    “et.al.”
    • When reporting/reciting, make it short
    and concise, focus lang sa important and
    sa iyang ginapangita. Ayaw pag pa
    impress na wala sa lugar.

    For Atty. Suarez, impression matters and 1st


    impression lasts. So work on that.

    For reporting, read the full-text. She will know


    kung nag digest ra ka.

    *For exams: LA TSN, CODAL (Memorize!!!),


    Past Exams
    Fr. Gus TSNs Walking genius ni si Father. So record his
    LABOR lectures. Daghan kayo kay ma learn. He won’t
    STANDARDS terrorize you. Mag lecture ra na sya. But he is
    2 units known for not adjusting your grades. Imung
    grade is all exams divided by the number of
    exams ra jud. Unya kana na na. Maski 74.5 pa
    na. Round down man so 74. Maski muhilak pa
    kag ice drop. Final na na.

    True or False rapud iyang exam. So study in a


    detailed way. Precision is the secret.

    *For exams: 3 TSN rule. Record him this year.


    Tas pangita ug maayong TSN for the past 2
    years. Basaha jud tanan iyang handouts. Kung
    kaya pa, read Azucena.
    Atty. Elman LA TSN Sir Elman is one of the kindest professors in law
    PUBLIC school. He won’t terrorize you. For recit, I can
    CORPORATION say na even digests would be enough basta
    2 units makabalo ka sa issue and relevant ruling.

    and SR) *For exams: LA TSN, Sir Elman’s Powerpoint
    Presentation, Past Exams
    Atty. Valencia Sigma TSN Atty. Valencia is similar to Atty. G. Mother figure.
    ELECTIONS But her recitations will give you mild heart
    2 units attacks. For her recits, at first masunod pa ang
    (For both Manresa order, and it would suffice na maka read kag 10
    and SR) cases. Pero ma shock nalang ka kay mag skip-
    skip na sya and there is no possible way na
    nabasa to nimo na kaso kay ika 35th case na sya
    sa list (except kung alien ka and mabasa jud
    nimo tanan). Ana gud.

    So giunsa nako pag survive iyang recit?


    Reading what I can and the rest was divine
    intervention. Swear. Pag matawag ka sa recit,
    and you know the case, MAKE HER FEEL
    THAT YOU DO. If she feels na kabalo ka sa
    case, it will save you from her asking you
    questions like “how many votes were cast”, “how
    many precincts”, “what case was filed and
    where”. Kay kung unsa ka specific ang recits ni
    Atty. Suarez, ato ka all-encompassing ang kay
    Atty. V.

    P.S. Know when her birthday is and paghatag


    mog gift as a batch. Pag makalimot mo, kamo ra
    ang batch na wa sya na remember. And she will
    remember that. Hehe.

    *For exams: Sigma TSN, Bar Reviewer ni Atty.


    Valencia (Batch 2016 graduates ang latest

    Atty. Sarona-Lozare Class Transcription Atty. Sarona is my personal favourite ☺ Wala

    2 units sa book na related ato. Loyalist man si Ma’am
    (Nakalimot ko kinsa kay Agcaoili. Pansin nako na her exams come
    sa SR) from the book and full-text raman jud.

    *For exam: Book and cases


    Atty. Coronel TSN Naga quiz si Sir every meeting. And iyang exam,
    NATRES compilation of quizzes plus additional questions.
    1 unit Okay mag full text sa iyaha, especially sa sugod,
    (Si Atty. Tan for for recit and quiz purposes. Pero tung
    SR) nagkabuang nako balance sa tanan subjects, I
    ended up with digests. Just have a good TSN.
    The one I got was from the Graduating Batch of
    2016. Okay to.

    For your class activity, daghay naga ingun na


    pinaka gusto ni Sir na mag tree planting mo.

    *For exam: TSN
