face some challenges, but every opportunity that arose I saw as a chance to grow. As a
result I became proficient with my classroom management, lesson planning, and student
repertoire. I pride myself when saying that I was always there for my students no matter
what they were in need of, whether that be extra help after school or emotional
support.
This practicum placement gave me the opportunity to have the chance to work with my
fellow Grade Four teachers in planning and organizing whole units and classroom
activities. During my time at Eastbrook Elementary School I helped with many
extracurricular activities, such as the craft club or the floor hockey tournament. This
school gave me the opportunity to really build upon my professional relationships and
embraced teamwork.
I tried my best to always get involved with any extra-curricular activities. One that I
found very interesting was the construction of the school Christmas concert. While
participating in this I helped a team with decorations, planning, and practices.
