hearing is held.

JUVENILE JUSTICE BOARD:
Juvenile Justice Board is one of the most socially important
features of the modern judicial system. Children accused of
committing crimes are brought forward to this board. A
child should have completed 7 years or more and should not
be more than 18 years of age to be on this board.

CHILD WELFARE COMMITTEE:
It is a socialist function carried out by the judicial system.
Those children who are orphan or who are lost are brought
to this Committee. Any children up to the age of 18 years can
be brought to this board.

ORGANIZATIONAL HIERARCHY
The trustees are the apex group of the Juvenile Court. They
are the group who take important decisions and form plans,
rules and regulations (in line with the legal regulations) to
be followed by the Children, Staff and Officials of the Juvenile
Court.

CONCLUSION
The visit mainly highlights the fact that Law has made
provisions to look after such children and Law student like
us can make a meaningful difference to the society by using
our knowledge for the betterment of the people.
