The MHT-CET exam will consist of 3 papers testing Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Paper 1 will test Mathematics and Physics, Paper 2 will test Chemistry, and Paper 3 will test Biology. Each paper will be multiple choice, have 100 marks, and last 90 minutes. Approximately 20% of questions will cover class 11 syllabus while 80% will cover class 12 syllabus. There will be no negative marking. The difficulty level will be on par with JEE Main and NEET exams.

1. The questions will be based on Syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. 2. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std.XII curriculum while setting the question paper. 3. There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET.
