    ASME SECTION I & VIII, Division 1 - Training Course

    Course Objective
    • The engineering and design fundamentals required for the application of
    the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section I & VIII Division 1
    • Review in detail current practices in the application of the latest Code
    edition and the Code’s requirements.
    • This will also address the quality concepts and design of quality manual
    for construction of pressure equipments, and specific topics includes all
    quality elements, NDE, Materials, PWHT and control of Quality
    Documents and Finalization of MDRs.
    • In addition, the seminar will cover the documentation and other
    administrative requirements of the Code as well as related issues such
    as repair and alteration of in-service pressure vessels.

    Requirements.
    • Quality control and inspection requirements and responsibilities of the
    manufacturer and the Authorized Inspector.
    • Code Stamp application, marking and testing requirements.
    • Documentation, records, Data Reports, registration, and other
    administrative requirements
    • The Seminar includes a workshop that will provide the attendee with
    hands on use of the Code by answering pre-established questions with
    instructor guidance.
