1.-WHAT IS HYPOTHERMIA?
It is the decrease of the temperatura below normal.
Can be produced by prolonged exposure to very cold temperaturas.

2.-HOW DO YOU KNOW IF SOMEBODY HAS HYPOTHERMIA?


If the person has the following symptoms:
.Babble or murmur
.Slow breathing and shallow weak pulse
. Loss of knowedge.
3. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO IF YOU ARW WITH SOMEBODY WHO HAS
HYPOTHERMIA?
You have to chek the breathing to warm up the victim. Appy warm compresses in these
regions.

4.-WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYPOTHERMIA AND HYPERTERMIA?


DIFFERENCE:
HYPOTHERMIA.
Is the descrease in body temperatura below normal at very low temperaturas.

HYPERTHERMIA.
Is an increase in temperatura above the normal hypothalmic value due to failure of the
heat evacuation systems this is a situation in wich the person experiencies an increase in
temperatura above normal limits
5.-WHICH ONE IS MORE DANGEROUS: ¿HYPERTHERMIA OR HYPOTHERMIA?
Is more dangerous the hyperthermia is the elevation of body temperatura, usually as a
result of a hypermetabolic response
6.-EXPLAIN HOW TO FULFILL ONE OF THE STEPS FOR TREATING HYPOTHERMICA.
TREATMENT:
1- Gently treat it when you are helping a person with hypothermia treat it with care.
2- Keep the person away from the cold.
3-Take off wek clothes.
4-Cover the person with blankets.
5-Give warm drinks.
6-Control the breathing.
7- Use dry compresses.
7.- DO YOU KNOW WHAT FIRST AIDS MEAN?
If the first aid consists of the inmediate attention that is given to a sick person injured or
injured in the place of events.
