Foundationite Qualifies for TOSP Reg’l Search

A   recent   graduate   from   Foundation   University   was   chosen   as   a   regional

finalist  for the search of the Ten Outstanding  Students  of the Philippines
(TOSP).

Ivan Christopher B. Cordevilla, BS Biology, will be among the 20 student
achievers   in   the   Central   Visayas   Region   who   will   undergo   a   twoday
formation activity at the end of this month in Cebu City.

Cordevilla, during his college days, had countless engagements inside and
outside the campus. This has made his experience a different and enriching
one, not only as a biology student but also as a budding leader and aspiring
debater.

In   fact,   he   was   chosen   as   one   of   the   participants   of   the   Ayala   Leaders’

Congress in 2017 and later, was picked as rapporteur to serve as one of the
facilitators of the said congress this year. Apart from that, he also represented
the country in the ASEAN Youth Summit and the 3 rd  ASEAN Foundation
Model ASEAN Meeting.

The network he has established with fellow youth leaders around the country
and around Asia has enriched his knowledge and experience in leadership,
cultural understanding and community development work, more specifically
with environmental advocacies.

During the course of his college days, Cordevilla was a member of the Corps
of Ushers and was also part of the student government.
Foundation   University   takes   pride   of   its   students   and   graduates   who
exercised excellence in their academic and cocurricular endeavors.
