    Diagnosis
    GASTRIC GROWTH, BIOPSY:
    - DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA.

    Gross Examination
    The specimen is received in formalin in a container labeled with patient's name and surgical number. It consists of multiple tan grey
    tissue fragments, collectively measuring 1.1 x 0.3 cm. Entirely submitted in single cassette. (Dictated by Dr. Memoona/ Consultant

    Microscopic Description
    Sections show gastric mucosa with an atypical lymphoid infiltrate composed of large cells exhibiting high nuclear to cytoplasmic
    ratio, vesicular chromatin and prominent nucleoli (focally). Areas of necrosis are also seen.

    Immunohistochemistry showed:
    - CD20: Positive.
    - AE1/AE3: Negative.
    - CD10: Negative.
    - BCL-6: Positive (focal).
    - MUM-1: Strognly positive.
    - Ki67: 40%.

    Comments
    The immunoprofile is consistent with Activated type of Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma.
