Dear Ma’am;

I am writing to you to express my desire to serve as a Math teacher in your institution. I have just
achieved my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics in March 2018 and
I am planning to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers this coming month of September.

In the last year of my college, I was assigned to have my practice teaching in BUCEILS (Bicol
University College of Education Integrated Laboratory School ). My four months of internship in
the said school brought me much learning especially in giving instruction and supervision. The
seasoned teachers in BUCEILS taught me how to professionally deal with various situations that
have got something to do with school matters such as dealing with the parents and guardians of
the students as well as working on school activities that involve the out of school community.

In the short period of my stay in BUCEILS, I was able to develop my communication skills and
my pedagogy and I believe that it helped me be more prepared to a greater challenge which is to
finally embrace the job of being a full-time educator. Given my ample training in college, I am
confident that I am ready to work and do the responsibilities of a t eacher and I know that your
reputed institution can give me an opportunity to continue to develop myself professionally.

I was a team-player during my college years. I participated in various activities such as

leadership trainings and community involvemen t programs. My experience will be my armor to
mold my future students not just academically but socially. As a young educator, I believe that
instilling the importance of social involvement to the students plays a key role to their success
and I am hoping you are going to give me a chance to put in to practice and to share to the
students of your institution this thing I strongly believe in.

Given my lack of experience in teaching as I am a fresh graduate, I am willing to be trained and I

am willing to undergo series of workshops and lectures if you may ask me to do so when you hire
me. I am ready to be shaped by the teacher training programs you provide for your employees.

Attached in this letter is my resume which you can use for reference.I am really hopi ng that you
will give me a chance to have my first teaching experience in your institution.
Thank you for considering my application. I am hoping for your favorable response.

Sincerely,

Madison B. Llego

Dear Ma’am;

Please consider this letter as my intent to apply for a teaching position in your
established institution. I was told by a friend that you are looking for Science teachers for
the opening of school year 2019-2020. Given my qualifications, I believe that I am
qualified to teach in your school.

I graduated with honors last March 2017 from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with
bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Science and passed the Licensure
Examination for Teachers in September 2017.

To continue to develop myself academically, I started pursuing my graduate degree in

November 2017 enrolling in the Graduate School of Polytechnic University of the
Philippines. My degree of concentration is Master of Arts in Educational Management
major in Science.

Though I haven’t had a teaching experience yet, I believe that I am ready to take the
responsibilities of a teacher as I have already equipped myself with skills and learnings
which I have gained through the series of lectures I attended in the graduate school and
in the different seminars and trainings I attended in the past.

I chose to submit my application in your institution as my colleagues told me that you

provide a very good opportunity to your teachers to hone their skills and to improve
themselves by participating in various professional development workshops and trainings
in and out of the school. I also did a little research about the schools here in Marikina
and your school appears to be the best in most aspects. I believe choosing what is best
can bring out the best in people like me who want to improve continuously.

I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching experience in
your reputed school.
Thank you for considering my application. I am waiting for your positive response.

Sincerely,

Jan Camille B. Llego

Dear Ma’am;

Thank you for taking the time to review my application. I am interested in applying for a
secondary level teaching position in your school. I am looking to use my degree in
Secondary Education major in Social Studies. I acquired my teaching licensed two years
ago and have practiced the profession since then.

While teaching in St. Matthew’s College, I have had opportunities to work with Junior
High School and Senior High School students. I was able to develop my teaching skills
as well as my interpersonal skills as I dealt not just with the students but with the
different people who were involved in our school community. I have had many
accomplished tasks and activities in the previous institution I belonged to such as social
extension activities or community involvement projects.

Believing that the more the students are socially involved, the more they develop their
opinion and stand in the society they belong, I’d like to instill the value of social
awareness (which is one of the hallmarks of the kind of education you offer) in the
students of your institution.

I am seeking a career that will help me to continue working with people in various ways. I
hope you will find that I am qualified for the position you seek to fill.

If I can provide you with any further information on my background and qualifications,
please let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
