Features

The Avantree Oasis Plus is a long range Bluetooth transmitter or receiver. Class 1 Bluetooth technology and an
optimized antenna design allow it to work at ranges of up to 164ft/50M. Use the Oasis Plus as your home
entertainment audio hub! As a Bluetooth transmitter to Bluetooth-enable your TV or AV receiver, to stream
audio to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers. As a Bluetooth receiver to Bluetooth-enable your traditional
non-wireless music system. It supports both wireless (Bluetooth) and wired (bypass) modes simultaneously.
Watch TV and independently control volume for a pair of Bluetooth headphones and a wired/connected
speaker at the same time. It supports the aptX-HD standard - when used with aptX-HD Bluetooth headphones,
for wireless streaming of high definition, natural sounding audio.

LED Indicators

Power up Oasis Plus

Power up the transmitter with the USB cable provided. Connect it to a TV USB port (TV needs to be turned on)
or any other USB charger that supports 5V/500mA-2A.

Use as a Wireless Transmitter (TX mode)

1. Pair and connect

1) Slide Mode switch to the "TX" position.


2) Slide LL/HD switch to “LL” or “HD priority” position,refer to “function & operation” table.
3) Pair the Oasis Plus with your Bluetooth audio device
• Hold button for 2s – “TX” LED will alternately flash GREEN and WHITE quickly.

Hold for 2s

• Set your headsets/speakers to pairing mode (please refer to your user manual).
• Keep them close together and wait. Once connected, the “TX” LED will stop flashing and A will light up. You
will hear voice prompt“ Connected. Ready for use.”

2. Set up your TV

Now you should be able to use the headphone. IF there’s no sound:

a. Ensure 3.5mm audio input jack should be free.


b. Ensure your TV speaker is set to “External Speaker”
c. Ensure TV Audio Format is set to “PCM” or “DOLBY/DTS” is off (This is IMPORTANT)

3) TVs with AUX 3.5mm audio out

Now, you should be able to use the headphone. If no sound, please ensure your TV speaker is set to “Headset”

4) TVs with RCA Audio Out (Red/White ports labeled "AUDIO OUT ")

Now you should be able to use the headphones. If no sound:

a. Make sure you’ve used the TV Red/White ports labeled “AUDIO OUT.” Other Red/White ports will NOT work.
b. Ensure your TV speaker is set to “External Speaker”

3. Use wth AV Receiver with 6.35mm PHONE jack

Set up Oasis Plus using 6.35mm phone jack

NOTES:
Please do NOT use the RCA ports on the back of your AV receiver. They will not work and may perma-
nently damage the transmitter.

• ONLY use the BIG 6.35MM PHONE OUT located in the FRONT of your AV Receiver with the 6.35mm to
3.5mm adapter (not included).
• Do NOT set the volume too high.
• You may test the port with wired headphones before using.

Use as a Wireless Receiver (RX mode)

1) Slide the TX/RX switch to the "RX" position.


2) Slide the LL/HD switch to “LL” or “HD” priority position; refer to the “Function & Operation” table.
3) Pair the Oasis Plus with your Bluetooth-enabled phone/pc/tablet.
• The Oasis Plus should enter pairing mode automatically with “RX” alternately flashing GREEN and WHITE.
To manually enter pairing mode - hold button for 2s.

Using the Bypass Mode (Non-Bluetooth)

Bypass mode means a direct cable connection. It connects your TV and your external wired soundbar or
speakers directly.

In OFF mode, only Bypass works. Then you In TX mode, Bluetooth function and direct cable connection
can hear the TV sound from your soundbar. work simultaneously. Then you can hear your TV sound from
both your soundbar and Bluetooth headphones.

Bypass can only work with the same type of input/output. AUX input to AUX output or OPT input to OPT
output.

Pair and Connect two Devices Simultaneously (Dual-link)

In TX mode

1) Pair with the first device by following instructions in the “Use as a Transmitter (TX mode)” section.
2) Then pair with the second device:
• Enter second headphones/speaker into pairing mode (refer to user manual).
• Enter the Oasis Plus into pairing mode again; press the button for 2 seconds - “TX” flashes alternating
GREEN and WHITE.
• Wait for devices to connect. When connected to two devices both LEDs A and B will be on.

Notes:
1) For improved compatibility and sound quality, we suggest you use Bluetooth devices with CSR chipsets,
e.g. Avantree Torpedo plus, Audition Pro, Plantronics backbeat pro, etc.
2) When in dual-link mode, the Oasis Plus doesn’t support aptX-HD.

In RX mode

1) Pair with the first device by following instructions in the “Use as a Receiver (RX mode)” section.
2) Then pair with the second device:
• Enter the Oasis Plus into pairing mode again; press the button for 2 seconds - “RX” flashes alternating
GREEN and WHITE.
• Activate Bluetooth on your second device and search for “Avantree Oasis Plus“ - tap to connect.
• Wait for devices to connect. When connected to two devices both LEDs A and B will be on.

Note: Only one device can play music at a time. You must stop the music on one device to play on the other.

How to use two Oasis Plus as a pair?

You can use two Oasis Plus as a pair. First, choose one as a Transmitter (TX unit) and the other as a receiver (RX
unit).

Note: Turn off other nearby Bluetooth devices to avoid unintentionally pairing to other devices.

Follow the steps below to pair:

1) Set the RX unit to receiver mode - Slide the TX/RX switch to the "RX" position.
2) Set the TX unit to transmitter mode - Slide the TX/RX switch to the "TX" position.
3) Select the same priority on BOTH UNITS - Slide LL/HD switch to “LL” or “HD” priority.
4) Set BOTH UNITS to pairing mode – Hold for 2 seconds until the LEDs (“TX” on the TX unit and “RX” on
the RX unit) flash alternating GREEN and WHITE.
5) Keep devices close together and wait. Once connected, you will hear the voice prompt “Connected. Ready
for use.” from both units.

Restore to Factory Default Settings

You may need to reset Oasis Plus if it is not working as expected. Please note TX and RX pairing history are
independent. Please choose the right mode to reset.
Turn the unit on. Press and hold the and buttons together for 7 seconds until you hear voice prompt
“pairing history cleared”.

How does the LL/HD Priority feature work?

This table shows the prioritization of the different audio codecs used when using the LL/HD Priority feature.
