Working in the Tec quanta software services pvt ltd was interesting. During
this internship period, I learnt a lot on frontend web development including
technologies like html, CSS, JavaScript and bootstrap.
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Dharmender Gahlot founder TQ

services for providing me an opportunity to do my internship and project
work at TQ services.
I also thank the other founding members and employees of TQ services for
encouraging and motivating me through the entire internship period.
DECLARATION
I, DEEPAK KUMAR MALIK, student of B.Tech computer science,3rd

year of University School of Information and Communication
Technology, New Delhi completed my summer industrial training
from TQ software services pvt ltd from June 3 2019 to AUGUST 4
2019.
During the mentioned period I worked on Web Development and

completed my summer training under the guidance of Mr.
Dharmender Gahlot.
INTRODUCTION
Web Development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a

website for the internet or the intranet. Web Development can range from
developing the simplest single static web page of plain text to the most
complex internet-based application, electronic businesses and social
network services.
A more comprehensive list of tasks to which web development commonly

refers, may include web engineering, web design, web content development,
client liaison, client side/server-side scripting, web server and network
security configuration and e commerce development.
For larger organizations and businesses, web development teams can

consist of hundreds of people (web developers) and follow standard
methods like Agile methodologies while developing websites. Smaller
organizations may only require a single permanent or contracting developer,
or secondary assignment to related job positions such as a graphic designer
and/or information systems technician. Web development may be a
collaborative effort between departments rather than the domain of a
designated department.
There is open source software for web development like Berkeley DB ,

Glassfish, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack and Perl/Plack. This has
kept the cost of learning web development to a minimum. Another
contributing factor to the growth of the industry has been the rise of easy-
to-use WYSIWYG web-development software, such as Adobe Dreamweaver,
Blue Griffon and Microsoft Visual Studio. Knowledge of Hypertext Markup
Language (HTML) or of programming languages is still required to use such
software, but the basics can be learned and implemented quickly with the
help of help files, technical books, internet tutorials, or face-to-face training.

DESCRIPTION OF
ASSIGNMENTS CARRIED OUT
This project addresses the study of the emerging sector of website

development, and its core features that are used by most of the websites
running today. The main goal of this training is to maintain and fix some bugs
on the website named kitkatwords. The website offers an online dictionary
where the user can search words in six Indian regional languages. The
website also provides the pronunciation of the word being searched. The
meaning of the word searched is displayed with multiple images to let the
user remember the meaning with ease.
Although the website is hosted already and worked fine it has some bugs on
the front-end and was not fully responsive. The footer for some pages does
not stick to the bottom. The button design was not so attractive. The
background was not so much appropriate.
I worked on fixing these above-mentioned issues and bugs. I used bootstrap

for making the website fully responsive as it is now. Provided some
breakpoints for different viewing devices. I also worked on the website design
and provided the top most section background image which the website
currently uses. Apart from this I also make sure that the footer sticks to the
bottom of the different pages. I also worked on the navigation bar and made
it more attractive. On the navigation bar I also provided the button link for the
android app software of this website.

CONCLUSION
Techquanta software services is a very intriguing place for students to do

their summer training program as I was working among the other employees
of the company and was able to get the look and feel of a real job experience.
By this program I have gained a wide knowledge of Web development and
it’s applications.
Techquanta software services contributes a lot to the knowledge of it’s

trainees and try their level best to contribute to increase our ability so that
wee can stand out from others and whatever they contribute to the other
corporate world automatically becomes productive.
The Company provides me with the real-time working scenario. I have gained
a lot of experience of a real time job in a company. I witnessed the
assignments the employees were working on. The conclusion is that, I have
gained a lot of experience both in the field of my project and about the
general real-time working scenario.
