Some of the key takeaways from the design sprint included generating over 1500 ideas to solve problems, creating 64 prototypes, and having very positive feedback and a 99% satisfaction level from participants.

Microsoft was trying to solve 10 priority areas/focus areas that were agreed upon by management for the upcoming year. They held the design sprint to generate ideas and solutions for challenges across various business units and functions.

The design sprint was structured into three phases - discovery, ideation, and co-creation. In discovery, teams would analyze problems and redefine them. In ideation, they would generate ideas. In co-creation, the top ideas would be developed into prototypes and pitches. It involved over 800 Microsoft employees across India.
