PARTICIPANTS  Purpose of Communication


- to establish an atmosphere of sociability
 The Sender - one must identify what he/she is trying to

 Norms of Interpretations

- refers to how Norms of Interactions may be


viewed by someone who does not share the
same belief
- any violations of these may lead to
misunderstanding or complete communication
breakdown
