Cocktails for Italian Cuisine

Sicilian Fizz Alessandro

1 1/2 oz. Square One Organic Vodka 1 1/2 oz. Square One Botanical
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice 1/2 oz. Aperol
1/4 oz. Aperol 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 thyme sprig 1/4 oz. simple syrup or agave nectar
2 – 3 oz. Blood Orange Italian Soda (chilled) club soda
1 thyme sprig for garnish cherry and/or an orange slice for garnish

Slap thyme sprig and drop into cocktail shaker. Add Combine all, except soda, in a mixing glass with

1/2 oz. Aperol
1 1/2 oz. Square One Organic Vodka 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 dash Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur 1/4 oz. simple syrup or agave nectar
1 oz. tangerine syrup* Peychaud’s Bitters as garnish
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Dry shake (no ice) the egg white until foamy. Add

Little Orphan Apple

1 1/2 oz. Square One Cucumber 1 1/2 oz. Square One Botanical
1/5 Fuji Apple, cored and cubed 3/4 oz. Averna Liqueur
1/2 oz. Aperol 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. agave nectar or simple syrup 1/2 oz. concentrated hibiscus tea*
1/2 oz. fresh organic lemon juice 1/4 agave nectar or simple syrup
club soda or Fever Tree Bitter Lemon Soda
In a mixing glass, muddle half of the apple cubes
with lemon juice. Add the remaining ingredients Shake all with ice. Strain into a Collins glass filled
and ice. Shake well and strain into a short glass with ice. Top with soda. Orange twist garnish.

Cardo Rosso Caprese Martini

Build over ice in a tall glass and stir briefly while 1/2 barspoon of Dirty Sue olive juice or 3 drops of

Capri Fizz
If using fresh tomatoes, muddle in mixing cup until
1 1/2 oz. Square One Basil pureed. Combine all other ingredients and shake
3/4 oz. blood orange liqueur with ice. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Italian Lemon Drop Prosecco

1/4 oz. Galliano, Strega or Aperol Liqueur Combine all ingredients, except Prosecco, in a

1/2 oz. simple syrup or agave nectar into a champagne flute. Top with Prosecco, lemon

1 1/2 oz. Square One Basil My Word


1/2 oz. Limoncello
lemon soda (San Pellegrino or Fever Tree) 3/4 oz. Square One Basil
basil leaf and lemon twist as garnish 3/4 oz. Yellow Chartreuse
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice

1 1/2 oz. Square One Basil
1/2 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur 2 oz. Square One Botanical
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice 1 oz. Punt e Mes
1/2 oz. agave nectar or simple syrup 1 oz. pomegranate juice
1 oz. pomegranate juice
Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into a cocktail
Combine all in a mixing tin with ice. Shake and glass or coupe and serve with an orange peel or
strain into a cocktail glass and a garnish with pomegranate garnish. Alternatively, try as a long
candied cherry. drink with ice and a little soda.
