SEPTEMBER 2019

Culture is the characteristic of group of people defined by everything such as

language, religion, lifestyle etc. It plays a vital role in different things such as clothes,
foods, religion and many others. It also serves as the identity of a group of people living
in specific place. To understand culture and traditions of different countries, we must
accumulate it first with learnings that every people must experience. Through this, in
this upcoming English month celebration, we will make a museum because it is one of
the key factors that will help people to understand the country's culture and historical
value. Also, museums provide people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to
learn and explore different cultures. These spaces offer a unique view into worlds that
are either long gone or can’t exist with future generations.
As we make a museum for the English month celebration, here are the certain
countries that we will be presenting from which are focused on the continent of Asia:
Philippines, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and Cambodia.

Purpose

 To give the audience learnings, engagement, and enjoyment throughout their

journey in our museum and about cultures and traditions.
 To give audience a visual of what culture, tradition, and language do countries in
Asia continent have. So that they will also feel that they are really in the countries
of Asia and also to appreciate the cultures in it.
 To give the audience awareness about cultures. Learning about other cultures,
languages, religions, and holidays aside from their own will help audience to
have self -reflect from them and others that will promote inclusion.
 To give audience an appreciation to cultural differences. It’s also important for
the audience to learn about some of the unique and amazing things that come
from other cultures and ways of life. Celebrating different cultures will bring to
light new thinking and understanding. And to teach them that we are all different.
This type of learning will encourage students to be creative thinkers and create a
better world for everyone.
Project Description

historical values of one's country. We will provide so that as they enter our
museum they will have a deeper understanding about the cultures and traditions
of featured countries.

pictures of tourist attraction places. It includes “Place Puzzle” activity
wherein audience will try to form shuffled pieces of a landmark.
Section 4 ( Food Section ) – This features different cuisine of different
countries. We will provide some food showcasing them cuisine from other
countries.
 Our museum is a peculiar one and which we should really have, it is because we
will going to use a modern technologies to give them a visual presentation about
different countries in Asia. Also, as they enter our museum, we will going to
welcome them using different language of different countries dressed in
traditional clothes of the countries because we believe that language is the road
map of a culture. It’s tell you where its people come from and where they are
going. Moreover, we will also conduct different games regarding to the culture
and language of different countries.
 In this activity, the one who will benefit are the audience, either the students or
the teachers who wants to explore more, engage more and learn more about the
cultures and traditions of different countries.

Objectives

 To be able to promote opportunities for everyone to experience culture,

participate and develop their knowledge about the cultures of different countries.
 To be able to increase awareness of tradition, cultural and art forms, history, or
values of the countries through expanding cultural perspectives.
 To be able to demonstrate an ability to respect other cultures and appreciate it to
the audience.
 To be able to have self-reflect and will get learnings and experiences from our
museum. Also, to entertain students.

contents in the Museum?
 Will the presented approach/idea impact and gather people?
 How well will the students engage in this museum?

Methodology and Project Design

 This project will be carried out in 5 steps and these steps are:

Day 1 Research about museum project.

Making a concept paper wherein will also help us have a concrete
plan for this project. It is for us to know what should be a museum will
appear like. So that, we can give our audience a quality visual of a
museum at the same time they will engage to enter in our museum.

Day 2 Research about the countries that will be putted in museum.

The third step, is one of the essentials thing that we should have in
our museum because our goal is to provide new learnings for students
about cultures and traditions of the countries .So that, we should also be
able to provide a lot of knowledge, and to provide entertainment for
students. For example, giving trivia or an activities.

Day 3 Design and construct the exhibit.

The fourth step, is the step wherein we will start to construct, plan
and build up our museum through teamwork with my teammates. This
step will also give emphasis to second step, which researching about a
museum.
Day 4 Learn the full exhibit.
The fifth step, is all about learning about our exhibit this is all about
learning what will be the flow of our exhibit, where will be the exit and
entrance. Also, where should the audience go next so that it will not cause
an overcrowding throughout the museum. We also going to learn what will
be the size of our room or space.

Day 5 Open the museum to public.

And for our last step, we are already going to show off our museum
for audience. And a starting point to give them, a wonderful experience
and a knowledgeable experience in out museum.
