1 Set up and join your PC to the DXC domain

In the Choose Your Keyboard Layout window, select your Keyboard Layout and
click Continue. Please choose English (US)

On the next window, click Start setup.
Read and ensure you have completed the prerequisites, and click Continue.

Legacy CSC who have not yet migrated to DXC: enter your
@csc.com Email address, Full Name, select your Timezone, click Continue.
Legacy ES, new hires, who migrated to DXC: enter your @dxc.com Email address, Full
Name, select your Timezone, click Continue.
Next, create a password for the local SOE-Load account.

Note: You must pick a password you will remember. You will need this password to
complete this process. Pay attention to the required password complexity at the bottom
of the window. Click Continue.

Click OK to Continue
Click INSTALL NOW to start the deployment (note this will take 10-30 minutes
depending on system resources)
You will see several Windows screens like these while the process progresses.


If you ensure that you noted/remembered the password of SOE-Load account, please
lick Yes to continue on the prompt below or click No to reset password SOE-Load
account of again. It is very important, so please check it carefully
Press these three keys CTRL-ALT-Del at the same time to unlock the Windows screen
and continue to the logon screen.

Click OK to continue
On first login you will need to enter the ‘SOE-Load’ the password you created during
the setup process to login.

2 Configure network to connect to DXC Network

You should follow those steps below to configure network authentication to get correct
project vlan
On Run command, enter ncpa.cpl:
Double click on Ethernet
Click on tab Properties -> Authentication, Check configuration as screen below

Click on Settings – Check configuration as screen below

Click on Configure – uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon…
Click OK twice to back Ethernet Properties screen
Click on Additional Settings – Choose User authentication
Click Save credentials – Enter your VDC account/password – OK to finish

VDC account is account was provided on Welcome paper

Disable/enable your network card and open cmd, enter ipconfig to check IP address to
make sure it’s correct
3 Continue Setup machine ( join your machine to Global Domain)

After the SOE-Load desktop profile appears wait until you see this prompt, then
click Continue. Note that if you are legacy CSC and have not yet migrated to DXC, you
will use your @csc.com email address when connecting your PC to the corporate
network and can ignore the note about the DXC email address in the screen below.

You must be connected to the internet to continue.
Once you have an internet connection click OPEN VIP ACCESS on the screen below.

Click I Accept on the VIP screen below.
Click OPEN SYMANTEC SELF SERVICE PORTAL on the screen below.

Once you have your VIP setup click Continue below

Click Continue below
The Pulse client will launch, click the appropriate nearest Pulse VPN Gateway.

Enter your DXC User ID (short name) in the Global Pass ID field. In the Password field,
enter your Global Pass Password followed by the MFA Security Code with no spaces
between them, click Connect.
Note: MFA Security Code - Once you have your Symantec VIP Access set up, each
time you open it, you will see a new security code displayed. This security code expires
after a few seconds and is replaced by a new security code. This is the MFA Security
Code to enter after your Global Pass password in the Password + 6 Digit MFA VIP
Security Code field seen below.
A Pulse Secure notice will pop up showing you are connected.

Once Pulse connected click Continue below
Legacy CSC who have not yet migrated to DXC: enter your @csc.com Email
Address and DXC Global Pass Password.
Legacy ES, new hires, who migrated to DXC: enter your @dxc.com Email address,
and DXC Global Pass Password.

NOTE: If you have entered the correct DXC email address and Global Pass password
and get the error circled below please disconnect from whatever network you are on
(for example you wired site network) and connect to another network (for example your site
Wireless Guest profile) and reconnect Pulse and try again. Certain sites have issues r
eturning LDAP queries that our process relies on.

Once signed in, click OK on the popup below to reboot your PC and continue the
process.
When the machine restarts press CTRL-ALT-DEL and click OK to the terms of use and
at the prompt below login with your SOE-Load password to continue the deployment.

At the prompts below click Continue and re-connect to Pulse as you did earlier
Enter your DXC email address and Global Pass password when prompted and click
Continue.
For L-CSC employees, enter your @CSC.com email address and Global Pass
password.

The setup process will continue.
On a physical machine you should see Encryption start as shown below. NOTE:
Virtual Machines do not have this encryption step.
Click Continue
The PC Setup process has completed. Press Continue to log off.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Legacy CSC who have not migrated to DXC: The next time you sign in to the PC and
going forward until your migration, you will use your @csc.com email address and DXC

Global Pass password.

Legacy ES and new hires: The next time you sign in to the PC and going forward, you
will use your @dxc.com email address and DXC Global Pass password.
Click CTRL-ALT-DEL at the screen below.

Click OK to continue
At the initial Windows login screen, enter the DXC Global Pass Password.
Once your windows profile has been created you will be left at the desktop. The
deployment process is complete.

Notes:
 When logging into your DXC reimaged PC, use your DXC email address and
Global Pass password.
 You must be connected via DXC Pulse for the initial Office activation to take
place……
4 Configure your machine after completed installation DXC SOE

4.1 Configure network to connect to DXC Vietnam Network after login
machine with DXC email address
You should follow those steps below to configure network authentication to get correct

4.2 Configure Outlook

After you signed in machine with account is your email and global password you must
establish VPN connection to DXC Pulse - Houston US using Pulse app.


Search Outlook application in windows Search and open it.
Check your email address correct then click Connect.

Type your global password
Type your global password one more time and approve VIP Access

Uncheck Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too and then click OK to finish.

4.3 Connect Printer.

To set up and to use printer at DXC Vietnam, you must ensure that you disconnected
any VPN (Big IP Edge Client, Pulse VPN, …)
Then Click on Start – Run or (Windows button + R)

 For NTO users: \\cscdsphcm001.vdc.csc.com
 For ETO users: \\cscdsphcm002.vdc.csc.com

Type your VDC account to authenticate
Double click on Printer that you want to add to your PC:

 For NTO: NTOPR<your floor>
 For ETO: ET1PR<your floor>


Click OK and Browse to Priter Driver on

\\CSCDSPHCM003.vdc.csc.com\softwares\drivers as below:
Click to Open

Type your VDC account to authenticate.
Choose HP_LaserJet_Enterprise MFP_M725

Click Open to install driver

Then click OK
The driver will be installed automictically

Now you can use Printer.

Notes: for first time printing after turning on your machine (your laptop or desktop), you
must connect to \\CSCDSPHCM001.vdc.csc.com and authenticate then you can print.

4.4 How to install drivers for DXC machine
Open windows RUN => type compmgmt.msc then enter.
On the left panel select Device Manager

On the control panel, select (R_Click) on drivers that you want to install choose Update
driver.

Click on Browse my computer for driver software

Click on Browse…

Type \\cscdsphcm003.vdc.csc.com\softwares\drivers (you must use DXC Vietnam

network or VPN to DXC Vietnam) folder

Click Ok
Type your VDC account and VDC password at dialogue Windows Security
Click OK
The drivers will be installed automatically.

Click Close

Please do the same way for the remain drivers.
