    Time: 3:00pm
    Venue: Brgy. Victoria Reyes Covered Court, Dasmariñas City

    Victoria Reyes Elementary School conducted the 1st State of the School Address
    (SOSA) last September 13,2019 at Brgy. Victoria Reyes Covered Court, Dasmariñas
    City. The main purpose of the program was to create a common platform, where the
    school, parents and stake holders come together to enrich the pupils educational
    experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of the
    pupils.

    The program started with a Doxology prayer led by VRES Rhythmic Movers,
    followed by the singing of National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Nerissa H. Corpin, Grade
    6 Adviser. The opening remarks was given by Mrs. Lucia F. Padernos followed by a
    warm message from Hon. Leonila C. Bucao, Brgy Captain of Brgy. Victoria Reyes.

    This event was attended by Barangay Officials of Brgy. Victoria Reyes headed by
    Hon. Leonila C. Bucao, VRES Teachers, GPTA officers and parents.

    The message of 2019 1st state of School Address was about the school’s
    achievements, programs and plans of the present principal Mrs. Anecita D. Taneo. She
    presented comprehensively with the use of power point presentation and discussed the
    following:

    1. DepEd Mission and Vision- Mrs. Taneo reminded the parents that discipline
    starts at home. It is a shared responsibility between parents, school and
    community. She also added that parents and guardians are enjoined to
    monitor the activities of their children in school.
    2. Introduction of Teachers, School Governing Council, General PTA Officers
    and Teachers’ Club Officers
    3. Accomplishments from June 2019- present
     Building Repair
     Roofing of Waiting Area (Main Building)
     Repair of Faculty Room
    4. Awards and Recognitions of the school
    5. DepEd Projects and Programs
    6. Localized Project and Programs of the school
     Project DRAP for Grade 6 pupils
     Project I-CARE for Grade 4 pupils
     Project D30 for Grade 1 pupils
    7. School Buildings and Facilities
    8. Other important reminders
     Proper wearing of school uniforms
     Clean-up drive every Friday
     Immunization
     Eye Test
     Schedule of gift-giving c/o BM Vale Encabo

    As Mrs.Taneo explained thoroughly and presented it well. This SOSA was


    evidently proven through statistical and testimonials, successful.

    As she ended her speech, She thanked everyone for their untiring contribution
    for the success of Victoria Reyes Elementary School. She also encourage everyone to
    continue supporting the projects and programs of VRES .
