Thelemic Zodiacal Rosary

Prayers for use with a 156 stone rosary. Twelve groups of twelve stones each divided
from the next with a pearl. Place the rosary around the neck. Use the stones given in
777 or revelation. Out notes on them here:

Read once at the beginning:

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and
precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and
filthiness of her fornication:

Revelation 21:19-27
And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious
stones.

The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony;
the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius;
the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz;
the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the
street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of
it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory
of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which
are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and
honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no
night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there
shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

For each of the following 12 sections:


Start at the pearl proceeding the Aries stones,
- At each pearl read aloud the verse from liber 231 and optionally followed by the
verses from LIBER VIARVM VIÆ and The Heart of the Master
- At each stone read the four lines. These are: 1. The name of the zodiac sign and the
wandering star exalted in that sign, 2. the title of the corresponding tarot trump, 3. a
note on the ROTA by Frater P., 4. an invocation of the virtues given by Horus in the
vision of the 1st aethyr in liber 418.
ARIES
Now riseth Ra-Hoor-Khuit, and dominion is established in the Star of the Flame.
The Formulation of the Flaming Star.
Use all thine energy to rule thy thought: burn up thy thought as the Phoenix!

x12​: Aries, Exaltation of The Sun.


The Son of the Morning, chief among the Mighty.
The Supernal Sulphur purifying by fire.
Make me mighty in the things of war.

TAURUS
Also is the Star of the Flame exalted, bringing benediction to the universe.
The Forthcoming of the Hierophant.
Offer thyself Virgin to the Knowledge and Conversation of thine Holy Guardian Angel!
All else is a snare.

The Magus of the Eternal.
The Reconciler above.
Make me adept in things occult.

GEMINI
Here then beneath the winged Eros is youth, delighting in the one and the other. He is
Asar between Asi and Nepthi; he cometh forth from the veil.
The Utterance of the Pythoness.
The Oracle of the Gods is the Child-Voice of Love in thine own Soul! hear thou it!
Heed not the Siren-Voice of Sense, or the Phantom-Voice of Reason:
rest in Simplicity, and listen to the Silence!

Cancer
He rideth upon the chariot of eternity; the white and the black are harnessed to his car.
Therefore he reflecteth the Fool, and the sevenfold veil is reveiled.
The Ritual of the Holy Graal.
The issue of the Vulture, Two-in-One, conveyed; this is the chariot of Power.

Leo
Also cometh forth mother Earth with her lion, even Sekhet, the lady of Asi.
The Protection of the Sphere.
Balance against each thought its exact opposite!
For the Marriage of these is the Annihilation of Illusion.

The Daughter of the Flaming Sword.
The Force that represses evil.
Give me the strength of the lion.

Virgo
Also the Priest veiled himself, lest his glory be profaned,
lest his word be lost in the multitude.
The Absorption of the Emanations.
Wander alone; bearing the Light and thy Staff!
And be the Light so bright that no man seeth thee!
Be not moved by aught without or within: keep Silence in all ways!

Libra
Also the lady Maat with her feather and her sword abode to judge the righteous.
For Fate was already established.

Mitigate Energy with Love; but let Love devour all things.
Worship the name _______, foursquare, mystic, wonderful,
and the name of His House 418.

The Daughter of the Lords of Truth. The Ruler of the Balance.
The severe discipline of the Path.
Let me hold the balances of Truth.

Scorpio
Also Asar was hidden in Amennti;
and the Lords of Time swept over him with the sickle of death.
The Preparation of the Corpse for the Tomb.
The Universe is Change: every Change is the effect of an Act of Love;
all Acts of Love contain Pure Joy. Die daily!
Death is the apex of one curve of the snake Life:
behold all opposites as necessary complements, and rejoice!

The Infernal Water purifying by putrefaction.

Sagittarius

lighting the pure stream with her brand of cursing. And the iniquity was very great.
Skrying in the Spirit Vision: The Ladder of Jacob.
Pour thine all freely from the Vase in thy right hand, and lose no drop!
Hath not thy left hand a vase?
Transmute all wholly into the Image of thy Will,
bringing each to its true token of Perfection!
Dissolve the Pearl in the Wine-cup:
drink, and make manifest the Virtue of that Pearl!

The Daughter of the Reconcilers, the Bringer-Forth of Life.

Give me the poisoned arrows of the Archer.

Capricorn
Then the Lord Khem arose, He who is holy among the highest,
and set up his crowned staff for to redeem the universe.
The Sabbath of the Adepts.
With thy right Eye create all for thyself,
and with the left accept all that be created otherwise!

The Lord of the Gates of Matter. The Child of the Forces of Time.
The gross powers of generation.

Aquarius
Transformed, the holy virgin appeared as a fluidic fire,
making her beauty into a thunderbolt.

Pisces
By her spells she invoked the Scarab, the Lord Kheph-Ra,
so that the waters were cloven and the illusion of the powers was destroyed.
The Divining of Destiny.
Let the Illusion of the World pass over thee, unheeded,
as thou goest from the Midnight to the Morning!
