ASTM C 67 STANDARED
COMPRESSION RATIO MUST BE 50%
DIMENSIONAL UNIFORMITY WITH IN 1% - DRY BLOCK VERNIER
Flexural strength: The flexural strength, termed the Modulus of Rupture (MOR), was
found by the three point bend method as described in ASTM C293-02 using Hounsfield
model H50KStensometer.

Soil having 33% sand, 30% silt and 33% clay on weight basis can be compacted to a maximum level than soil
having large fraction of sand or clay sized particles

ome of the major conclusions of the study are: (1) optimum clay content leading to maximum
strength is in the range of 14–16%; (2) saturated water content of the blocks increases with
increase in clay content of the block; (3) initial rate of absorption decreases with increase in clay
content of the block; (4) weight loss after ASTM wire scratch test is minimum when the clay
content of the block is about 16%; and (5) optimum clay content for the highest modulus for the
blocks and for highest shear-bond strength is about 16%.

Gypsum should be tested for its purity as per IS 1288-1982.

The main objective of this project is to increase the strength of the compressed earth bricks
which has
been provided through modified spray testing for the assessment of erosion resistance by
adding the
admixture Ironite.

Machine, electricity, hydraulic are all combined together and controlled by PLC with the optional locking
password to protect the running with safety.Main control table is with computerized operation screener
(Chinese/English menu,LCD touching screen),which can materialize the parameter setting,single
collecting along with the machine and breakdown analyzing, thus the machine can keep in the best
working status.By long-distance monitoring, breakdown seeking and system updating.

2 INVOLVED CALIBRATOR unit, which connects
to each scale in turn. It simulates a
known weight, checking the complete
load cell circuit as well as the
indicator. This avoids the need for
test weights during weekly tests, but
you should do a six monthly
calibration test to meet quality plan
requirements.
4)A piece of 6″ angle, welded across
the hopper directly under each gate,
will reduce the momentum of the
falling material and spread the pile of
aggregate, allowing a little more to
be batched into the hopper before it
touches the gate. More important,
however, it allows the scale to react
instantly to the falling material. This
removes the bounce effect while
shortening the response time of the
scale. This is also very effective when
batching small quantities of material.
Without the angle, it has to fall to the
bottom of the hopper before the
scale can react. In consequence it
increases the possibility for
overshoot before the gate can close.
The angle allows the system to react
properly regardless of the transit
distance. The gate closes normally
and you can jog it to obtain greater
accuracy. Size of the angle is not
LOAD CELL BYNAMIC MEASSURING critical, but it should intercept at least
