RE: ADMISSION TO LUSAKA PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

The college wishes to offer you admission, on full time basis, to a three year early childhood
teachers diploma course, starting in the 2019 academic year. You are expected to report on 7th
January, 2019. Arrival day for borders is Sunday 6th January, in the afternoon.

On registration you will be required to produce the following original documents: national
registration card or passport, a valid study permit (in the case of non-Zambians), and
certificates/statements of results, two passport size photos and a deposit slip of your tuition fees.

Please note that enrolment as a student at this college effect at your first payment of tuition fees.
You must deposit your money in the school account below, ACC No 5642651100125.

The numbers of documents are enclosed together with this letter. Be sure you read through all
these attachments carefully. Management wishes to congratulate you for this achievement you
have recorded this far. We look forward to your successful completion of this teacher training
course.

FEES FOR THREE YEARS TEACHER TRAINING DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES FULL


TIME, PART TIME AND DISTANCE

Accommodation/boarding K1,200 per term
Total tuition fee per year K4,500

You also need the following for use during school term:
 10 hard cover note books ( for note taking)
 Enough stationary to use in class e.g. pens, pencils, rubber etc.
 Sports wear
 White house coat( in the case of home economics students)
 Bedding (i.e. blankets, bed sheets and a pillow)
 Bath towel
COLLEGE RULES

1. Where the student reports late without notice, the college reserves the right to charge
penalty of k50.
2. Accommodation fees are not subject to instalment payments and must be paid in full on
registration.
3. Where accommodation has not been offered due to limited space, students will be
expected to make their own arrangements.
4. The college reserves a right to ban any student from entering for the final examination
when the average performance in assessment and assignments is below 75%.
5. School fees, ones paid, are not refundable.
6. Enrolments for a course constitute a binding contract between the college and the student.
7. The college reserves the right to make changes in regulations, syllabus, fees etc, without
prior notice.
8. No bear drinking in class or elsewhere during learning hours. Anyone smelling bear will
face disciplinary action.
9. Orderliness shall be observed at all cost at the hostels and the classes. (keep left on the
stairs)
10. No use of vulgar language against the administration.
11. Demonstration is not allowed in school.
12. Dress code: all students are expected to dress modesty at all times. The following are not
allowed, diva shoes, open shoes, slippers, short skirts, sleeveless tops, geans of any kind
or skirts, condrals, leggings/jeggings, trousers on the part of ladies.
13. No fighting in school premises
14. No vandalism of college properties.
15. No coloured hair/dress hair styles
Members of staff/ administration should be respected at all times.
Anyone found guilty of the above mentioned rules will be expelled without fail.
