I. Objectives:
To ensure proper care and management of the wildlife that are in Baguio City and to provide them
with a home to people who are willing to retrieve them.
II. Perceived Strengths
1. Stray animals will have a home with people that will cater their needs.
2. There will be an engagement with community members who love animals and are willing to open
their homes temporarily to pets in need.
3. The amount of stray animals roaming around will be reduced.
4. Safety and comfort for sick or injured pets in need of healing, animals who have been in the
shelter for an unusually long time and pets with contagious diseases
5. The people’s awareness about animal welfare will be increased.

VII. Steps/Phase/Method
1. Grade 12 Students will approach departments involving animal sheltering and foster, in order to
seek help in the accomplishment of the said project.
2. Identify a volunteer who will take the lead on overseeing the implementation and continuation of
the foster program.
3. Create a foster agreement contract that includes a comprehensive liability waiver
4. Purchase medication and needs for animals.
5. Develop a foster care manual for foster families.
6. Create marketing materials for print and for social media.
7. Ask local businesses to foster an animal.
8. Ask citizens who find a stray animal into foster volunteers.
9. Gather photos and videos from foster caregivers to promote the animals for adoption.
