    1.  According  to  the  article,  a  Web  server  computer  Amy  will  need  for  her  site  is  belong  to 
    individual  Web  server.  On  these  markets  that  sell  Web  server  hardware,  they  offer  different 
    series  Web  server.  Such  as  Rack  server,  Tower  server,  Blade  server,  PowerEdge  C  server.  Amy 
    should  choose  power  Web  server for her site. The server is suitable for small and medium-sized 
    companies.  On  the  basis  of  the  article’s  data,  Amy  should  choose  at  least 800MB disk storage, 
    6.5G  RAM  and  Intel  or  AMD  company’s  Dual-core  CPU.  However,  today  most companies sell at 
    least  500GB  disk  storage  on  market.  For  example,  Dell  sell  T320  tower  server  series  is  good 
    choice. 

    2.  Most  Web  server  software  runs  on  Microsoft  Windows  Server  products,  Linux,  or  other 
    UNIX-based  operating  systems  such  as  FreeBSD.  They  have  both  advantages  and

    I  will  recommend  Amy  choose  Linux  because  it  is  an  open-source  operating  system.  Linux can 
    be  downloaded  free  from  the  Web.  For  some  small  and  medium-sized  companies,  they  don’t 
    need  to  buy  window.  Linux  system  security  is  very  high,  unlike  Windows  system  often  update 
    and  close  loophole.  Especially,  LAMP  is  very  popular  combination  for  Web  server  computer 
    construction today. That means Linux + Apache + MySql + PhP. 

    3.  The  two  commonly  used  Web  server  programs  is  Apache  Http  Server  and Microsoft Internet 
    Information  Server  (IIS).  The  NetCraft  Web  server  surveys  show  that  the  market  share  of  Web 
    server  software  has  stabilized  in  recent  years.  Apache  generally  holds  over  half  of  the  market, 
    and  Microsoft  IIS  usually  holds  between  10%  and  20% of the market. The Apache Web server is 
    currently  available  on  the  Web  at  no  cost as open-software. It can run on almost all widely used 
    computer  platforms,  is  widely  used  because  of  its  cross-platform and safety in one of the most 
    popular  Web  software.  Apache  can  provide both static and dynamic service. Its disadvantage is 
    that  if  so  many  concurrent  requests  will  need  a  lot  of  threads,  thus  holding  much  system  CPU 
    and  memory  resources.  So  for  concurrent  processing  is  not  Apache's  strengths.  The  problem 
    mainly  appeared  on  the  large  portal.  And  there  are  better  solutions  for  the  disadvantage.  IIS’s 
    usability  is  strong.  But  can  only  be  run under Windows environment. It is paid software. So I will 
    recommend Amy choose Apache Http Server due to its advantages, and it is popular today.
