There are fx increasing economic and creates jobs, increases in profit for companies,improves the quality of life for people, create competition between companies, allows for increase variety of goods and services. 3. What is the role of product labels (like food or clothing brands) in consumerism? Labels play an important role in informing the consumer how to use a product and the safety information. 4. Do you believe special occasions like Christmas or Easter have become too consumeristic? Yes , I think Christmas and Easter has now transformed into this holiday of consumerism, the entire affair predicated on superficial gift-giving and feasting 5. Is there a way to escape the culture of consumerism? We should avoid over consuming.Think about yourself and the importance of being you, rather than the importance of wearing a logo, or a brand which is nonsense.
