Digestive Diseases & Leaky Gut
Digestive diseases are any disease that affect any part of your digestive tract.
Your digestive tract includes your mouth, throat, esophagus, stomach, small
intestine, colon (large intestine), rectum, and anus.
Leaky gut is one of the most common digestive diseases and is a condition
that happens as a consequence of intestinal tight junction malfunction.
These “tight junctions” are the gateway between your intestines and what is
allowed to pass into the blood stream. Your tight junctions keep things out

I bet you or a loved one is on some type of prescription medication. Which is

Start your mornings with a bulletproof coffee or tea Heart Disease
(1 tbs of coconut oil & 1 tbs of grassfed butter (or
coconut milk if dairy free)). Eat organic and cook
everything in lots of coconut oil or avocado oil.
Seeds and raw nuts are great to have on hand like
almonds, cashews, flax and chia. If consuming dairy
make sure it is raw. Eat lots of green leafy
vegetables. Use apps to track such as MyFitnessPal
and FatSecret. Take half your body weight and
divide by two. That is how much in grams of fat
minimum you should consume daily. Drink lots
and lots of water with a pinch of salt in it to help
with the detoxing process! A minimum of 3 liters for
men and 2.2 liters for women of water a day (18)

from the inside out. Have you ever heard of the saying “food is our
number one medicine?" Food can help us overcome a number of serious
health challenges that our society has been plagued with. Diabetes, obesity,

On this lifestyle plan you consume equal amounts (33% each) of clean
protein sources, healthy fats, and low glycemic carbohydrates in the forms of
fruits and vegetables.

from your diet.
The Elimination Diet is an effective yet lesser known way to find out what foods your
body doesn't agree with. Do you feel painfully bloated or have other digestive issues
after eating? Do you have skin related problems such as eczema, rashes or chicken
skin? Most times the root cause for these issues is a common food allergy. An
elimination diet is a short-term eating plan that eliminates certain foods that may be
causing allergies and other digestive reactions – then reintroduces the foods one at a

time in order to determine which foods are, and are not, well-tolerated. The
Elimination diet cuts out the more common food allergens: gluten, dairy, soy,
refined/added sugar, peanuts, corn, alcohol, hydrogenated oils, citrus fruits, eggs and
packaged/processed foods. Keep your meals at 40% vegetables, 30% protein, 20%
healthy fats and 10% whole food carbohydrates. After the 30 days (or up to 6 weeks)
of eliminating these foods, you then reintroduce one by one.
