PRESENT SIMPLE: AFFIRMATIVE, NEGATIVE AND QUESTIONS.

Affirmative: Ayat penyata.

Negative: Ayat negative atau penidak.
Question: Ayat tanya.

What is present simple? (Apa itu present simple?)

Present Simple: Digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang
1) Rutin dan sentiasa berlaku (pergi kesekolah setiap pagi, balik kampung setiap bulan dan rutin
yang lain)
2) Tabiat (membaca buku pada waktu malam, suka membeli belah dan pelbagai jenis tabiat lain)
3) Fakta saintifik (air mendidih pada suhu 100 darjah celcius)
4) Fakta universal (Bumi berbentuk bulat, bola itu berwarna merah dan fakta yang lain)

Affirmative:

Notice that we put ‘s’ at the end of singular verb? Good.

Negative:

Notice now that when it is in negative structure, we put don’t or doesn’t after subject, and all verbs
are now in their root form.

To make questions, just swap the subject and present simple negative.
