Grade 3 @ Home 

Week 11 ​(June 15-19) 


(​Please choose 1 literacy and 1 math activity to share with your teacher this 
week. You can take a picture or short video and send it via email.  

Literacy  Math

Writing 
● Pretend you are a news  Only do these activities if you fully understand
the above.

Word Work 
● Learn about adjectives and

● Read or listen to a non-fiction 
book or article. Choose 3 to 5 
new words that you learned. 
Write them out and practice 
reading them. 

Science 
Spring is the perfect time of year to learn about animal habitats! We will add some 
STEM activities here to challenge the students to learn about how animals survive 
in their environments. 
Please note: This activity will be posted for the next t​ wo weeks​ (weeks 10 & 11) so 
you don’t need to rush through it!

Gratitude journal – Take five minutes each day to think about something 
you feel grateful for. Record them in a journal or on a piece of paper. Here 
are some ideas:

-​ ​A positive quality someone that can sometimes be hard to get along
