SCHOOL COORDINATOR COMMENTS
Rosheni is a diligent and responsible staff member. She always works to the best of her capabilities and
knowledge. Her approach to teaching and lesson planning has always been thoughtful and purposeful. She
also takes into consideration her den eng h and challenges when planning her lessons. She has a
good and easy rapport with her students and works well with her colleagues.
Rosheni is always willing to help any colleagues by sharing her expertise or her resources. When assigned any

tasks, Rosheni is obliging and takes the responsibility seriously. She is indeed a wonderful staff member to
work with.
Rosheni has a bright, warm, and encouraging demeanour with students and draws them into the range of
activities that she has planned. Her lesson plans are differentiated and honour the range of learning abilities
in the group.
Rosheni was keen to receive independent feedback about her instruction and she was thoughtfully self-
reflective about the quality of her lessons.
Rosheni has the potential to be a leader in the special education field and I wish her well in her work.

MENTOR TEACHER AND/OR SCHOOL COORDINATOR COMMENTS
Professional Knowledge:
Rosheni possesses the essential knowledge and skills in guiding, nurturing and educating students with special
needs, especially in the area of early reading development. She has a good repertoire of teaching strategies
that she is able to appropriately choose from and utilise, to teach her students based on her understanding of
how each student learns. She ensures participation and engagement from all the students in her class. She also
shows patience and establishes inclusive interaction with all her students.
Professional Practice:
Rosheni is able to organize the subject content into meaningful teaching sequences during lessons to ensure
the effectiveness of her lessons. She plans and implements well-structured structured and paced lesson with
the necessary scaffolding to support her studen lea ning. She has a clear focus on the learning goals of all the
students in her class and knows how to assess their understanding efficiently. Her lessons are also
differentiated in terms of the number of objectives covered, content coverage, criteria for achievement and
ma e ial ed ba ed on he den abili ie and eadine To add to that, Rosheni engages the class with
various tools like ICT and concrete materials and there are many ways for students to demonstrate their
understanding.
Professional Engagement:
Rosheni always favourably looks at the opportunities to attend courses or learn new things. She is an active
team player in the Professional Learning Team we have in school. Rosheni not only works well with her
colleagues, she also displays budding leadership skills. As the Coordinator of an English level group, she, with a

team of fairly new teachers, works collaboratively to amend the curriculum coverage to pitch it at our student
coho ZPD. Rosheni also helps guide the teachers that work with her, on crafting good teaching resources
and shares wonderful and practical ideas for teaching. She engage ell i h he den parents and is
willing to go the extra mile to help them. Rosheni exhibits the necessary professional conduct of a good
educator.
