of having so many socio-economic difficulties.They fulfill our every demand and

1.1 History
The nest abode for senior citizens are pretty developed in united
states.united kingdom and there is recent development seen in construction of
old age home in india.Historical india has been a land where the elders have
always found a reversed place in the society strong family supported system
existed as a bulwark against uncertainties of the nest abode for senior citizens.
The increased speed of due to modernization urbanization and industrialization.

In india about 7.5% of the population is above 60 years.
There are over 81 million elderly people.The figure will rise to 177 millions
by 2025 by 2050 it will be about 240 millions.
Life expectancy has increased 41 years in 1951 to 64
years.Today,hundreds of the nest abode for senior citizens have sprung
up in india
1.3 Objectives:
To establish active advocacy at various levels of planning.
To reorganize facilities and approach to give a integrated design
approach.
To consider functional efficiency of spaces and providing user friendly
facilities.
