There has been many rumors going around about the home on Spirit Street being haunted. There home is
currently vacant because nobody wants to reside in it. There have been reports of objects moving, disembodied voices,
and mysterious figures walking the halls. The last residents left in a hurry. There have been rumors that most of their
furniture is still in the home. A famous ghost hunting team is planning on buying the home, and plans on turning the
haunted house into a tourist attraction. They plan to remodel the home with an eerie, and old/antique theme. The
company plans to have the haunted house remodel finished by the end of summer, and tours will begin in fall. Anyone
brave enough to enter (over the age of 17 for night tours, and over the age of 12 during the day) is more than welcome to
tour this house when it is open, There are reports that sleeping over night will be available. For a hefty fee of course!

The verdict
is in at the annual
Mayberry Berry
Festival Pie
Contest. As
expected, Aunt Bee organized
a fun and thrilling event. Ms. Helen Crump humbly
took her second place ribbon behind the unexpected
blue ribbon pie made by Mr. Rafe Hollister! It could
be the extra something special he put in his pie that
made the judges tipsy and giggly and happy to vote
his direction. However this reporter had the chance
to steal a taste of the Triple Berry Trouble Maker Pie
that stole the show, and in my opinion it was
definitely the freshness of the berries that made it
drool worthy. The real question is… did the Pie
Eating Contest contestants hold their liquor long
enough to beat out their opponents? Mr. Hollister
didn’t hold back on the “Trouble Maker” in his pie,
that is for sure! Luckily, the winner of the Pie Eating
Contest this year was used to sampling Rafe’s wares.
Otis Campbell will be wearing his gold medal as he
sleeps off that delicious pie.
