EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM

To undertake a Higher Degree by Research in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment

Thank you for your interest in studying a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) course at Deakin University. To evaluate your
eligibility for a PhD or Master by Research course you are required to complete this Expression of Interest (EoI) form.

Please be aware that if you are applying for a scholarship this EoI form needs to be completed at least 4 weeks prior to the
scholarship deadline.

Steps to completing the EOI form:

Step 1: Prospective applicant contacts potential supervisor using the link to the Schools staff directories below:

School of Architecture and Built Environment

School of Engineering

School of Information Technology

School of Life and Environmental Sciences

Step 2: Supervisor agrees to supervision and invites prospective applicant to submit an EoI

Step 3: Prospective applicant completes EoI form sections 1-9 and sends to supervisor

Step 4: Supervisor completes EoI form sections 10-13

Step 5: Supervisor sends EoI form and additional supporting documentation to sebe-phd@deakin.edu.au
