Introduction: Good morning po. Few minutes po before we start, we would like to remind everyone to accomplish
the attendance form. We have noticed that some of our colleagues were not able to accomplish it especially the
attendance form for the morning session. Also, kindly mute your microphone and turn off your camera to avoid
any interruptions and distractions. However, you may open them when necessary. Okay po? Thank you! 😊
Good morning po ulit! I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you. Today’s training
session is brought to you by the English Department. It’s both an honor and pleasure po to be your host
for today. I am Elaine Joy Otiong. We’re on the fourth day of our training / webinar on “Equipping
Teachers for the New Normal.” How are you today po? I hope you enjoyed your breakfast. Every day is
indeed a fruitful day for all of us. We might be feeling exhausted and overwhelmed with everything that is
happening right now. But let us not forget that our mantra should be, “It is always impossible until it is
done.” With so many hesitations and frustrations, we are grateful for the positive motivation from our
school heads and our fellow teachers. As we always observed, all of us are willing to learn for our
students because we believe that they deserve a great education despite the pandemic crisis.
To formally start our training today, may I call on Mr. Dominador O. Martinez (Grade 10-English
Teacher) for our opening prayer, followed by the nationalistic song to be led by Ms. Raquel M. Sumauang
(Grade 7-English Teacher). Sir JM? 😊 Thank you po, Sir JM and Ma’am Raquel!
We were very much engaged with the topics yesterday, so to recapitulate some important points
from our training yesterday, we have Ms. Emyluz D. Cantor (Grade 7-English Teacher). (Thank you po,
Ms. Mylz.)
And of course, to set our mood and to heighten the effectiveness of today’s training session, narito
na po si Ms. Annabelle M. Ronquillo. Hello ma’am? 😊 Thank you po, Ma’am Belle! Now we are all geared
up for our training today!
To acknowledge everyone’s presence today, here’s Mrs. Laarnie B. Matubaran for our roll call.
(Thank you po, Ma’am Lala!)
