Wilmont's Pharmacy Drone Case

Project Description Drone Tech will customize hardware, systems, interface and business processes to develop a
prototype drone delivery system for use at four Wilmont's Pharmacy (customer) locations in San
Francisco CA.
Project Purpose To determine feasibility of delivering prescriptions and Pharmacy items by flying a drone. The
prototype will help to determine if this type of delivery mode will be cost effective and enhance
Wilmont's high level of customer service.
Scope/boundaries During the pilot program Drone Tech will provide four modified drones to reflect Wilmont's
corporate logo and colours. Drone Tech will provide drone piloting and the product delivery.
Online order processing and customers willingness surveys will be handled jointly with Wilmont’s
assisting the integrations of IT systems.
Requirements The project must appear seamless to Wilmont's Pharmacy customer. Ensure the security of
Wilmont's confidential information is not compromised. Wilmont's management will approve the
customers and send the confirmations. Drone delivery will not be permitted for customers living
apartment buildings.

Assumptions and The project team member will be compensated as outlined in cost management plan. Wilmont's
constraints will provide the foundation for the pilot study.
Regular meetings will be scheduled for the team and stakeholders.
Risks Testing and Quality issues might arise.
Contract negotiation issues.
