    HomePlug Wireless N Extender

    FIRMWARE UPGRADE INSTRUCTION

    Use the latest Utility to upgrade your Firmwar e.

    New Firmware will enable your Wir eless Security and will change the Wireless
    SSID and Secur ity.

    Firmwar e upgr ade will r estore the device to its Factory Default and may
    require pair ing to your existing networ k after the upgr ade.

    Refer to the User Manual on How to Pair your Az tech HomePlug Wir eless N
    Extender.

    1. Download the latest HomePlugAV Wireless Extender utility v 4.6.2 on the link below.

    2. Under HomePlug select HL110EW>Software>Setup Utility v4.6.2 then unzip the file.
    3. Click Setup to launch the Setup launcher then click Install to intall the HomePlugAV Wireless N
    Extender utility.

    4. If you have installed the HomePlugAV Utility version 4.0.1.58 click Remove to delete the old
    utility then click OK to confirm deletion.

    5. Then click Install Utility to proceed with the installation of the latest HomePlugAV Wireless
    Extender utility.

    6. Click Next to Install the HomePlugAV Wireless-N Extender utility

    7. Click Finish to complete the HomePlugAV Wireless-N utility installation.

    8. Download the latest Firmware on the link below:

    9. Under HomePlug select HL110EW>Firmware>Firmware version 206.2.4-01_219.2.4-003.

    10. Firmware will include 3 files


    HomePlug AV Configuration filename: 206.2.4-01.pib
    HomePlug AV Firmware filename: int6000-v4.0.1-0-1-B-FINAL.nvm
    Wireless Firmware filename: 219.2.4-003.img
    11. Save these 3 files into 1 folder to where you can easily locate during Firmware Upgrade.
    12. Connect your HomePlugAV Wireless N Extender using an ETHERNET CABLE to the computer
    where you are using the HomePlug AV Wireless N Extender utility.
    13. Launch Wireless N Extender Firmware Upgrade utility v4.6.2.

    14. Go to Firmware Upgrade tab click “Upgrade” button. You will be prompted to select the
    location of the latest firmware.
    15. After you select the location of the latest firmware, the upgrade will immediately start.
    16. During Firmware Upgrade DO NOT turn OFF or RESET the device.
    17. When process is complete the unit will reboot.
    18. Click “Factory Default” button for the device to reset to its Factory default settings and for
    the new firmware to take effect.
    19. Once you have completed the Firmware upgrade, Current Fimware will display: 206.2.4-
    01/219.2.4-003.
