Establish and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Welding
Procedure Specifications(WPS)
Organize the stage inspections like Material Receiving Inspection, Fit-up, Weld Visual, Painting,
Pressure Testing as per scope mentioned in ITP.
Ensure that activities are executed in accordance with the Project Specifications and inspected in
accordance with the approved ITP.
Handling materials like CS, LTCS, SS, and ALLOY.
Coordinate with Subcontractor for Non Destructive Testing, Preheating, Post heating, PWHT
activities etc.,
Inspection on material like PMI, Hardness, thickness measurement by Ultrasonic thickness gauge
Coordinate with Client/Third Party Inspection for stage wise inspection as per the scope mentioned
in ITP.
Monitor the Welders Performance; maintain the log of Welding Repair Rate and taking necessary
action to reduce the repair rate.
Verifying piping material identity (pipe, valves and fittings) and its conformance to the installation
drawings
Verifying that welding inspection has been performed and joints have been released.
Verification that dimensions and alignment tolerances of the piping systems are as per constructs
specifications.
In-process surveillance to verify compliance with specified piping erection procedure including
flange alignments, torqueing, cleanliness etc.
Performing piping walk down inspection and completing punch list. Verifying punch list system
dealt with in accordance with the contractual arrangements.
Reviewing and verifying completeness of piping test packages ( hydro or pneumatic) prior to testing
Witnessing final piping tests
Completing and endorsing all inspection records from initial inspection till final inspection of piping
system.
Coordinate QC monthly meeting and review the Quality performance of the team.
Periodically execute the Quality awareness session with welders and all other craftsman for quality
improvement.
Compile and reconcile all inspection report and prepare of Quality Control Dossiers upon
completion of all the project activities and organize for Client approval
Carry out Internal audits & Face the Client audits to improve the QMS.
Ensure all records such as PAR, CAR, NCR, etc. Are maintained as per project requirements and
QMS.
Overall control of Non-Conforming products, Root Cause Analysis and coordinate with project team
to initiate the appropriate Corrective/Preventive action for Non- conformance’s identified during the
construction activities
