GPMR

OPERATION

1. MANUAL OPERATION

Press to activate GPM-R and the led comes on

Start Signal to the motor.


If “START” is not pressed within 30 seconds, “GPMR” deactivates and there is no power
from the battery. Only one start command is allowed. To repeat the start, first press “OFF” and
the “ON” again.

ƒ Cancelling the start command:


This happens when the “Oil pressure” and “Battery charge” signals are detected. If only one of
these is detected, “GPMR” will still operate.
ƒ Generator contactor connection:
With the motor running signal and after 10 seconds have elapsed, commands connection to the
generator contactor.
Stop command for 20 secs., when these have elapsed, it deactivates
the machine. (there is no power from the battery) the led goes out.

OFF If there is no start command, it deactivates “GPMR”

2. AUTOMATIC OPERATION
When terminals 9 and 10 are bridged, the machine is activated and the led comes on.
GPMR gives a start command (up to three start attempts with pauses)
When terminals 9 and 10 open and after dry running for a minute, it gives a stop
command (20 secs).
After being stopped for 20 secs. GPM-R is deactivated. (no battery power).
The led goes out.

3. ALARMS WITH OPTICAL INDICATION, STOP AND START BLOCKING
Failed start (Flashing with alarm)
In automatic mode: When the unit has not started after the 3 start/pause attempts.
Emergency stop (Steady with alarm)
When “Emergency stop” is activated. External signal
Oil pressure (Flashing with alarm/Steady signalling)
The alarm starts 15 secs. after the motor starts running
Overheating (Flashing with alarm)
The alarm is triggered by a thermostat in the motor.
Battery charge fault (Flashing with alarm/Steady signalling)
The alarm starts 15 secs. after the motor starts running
