Viva Voce

Before the final examination, the students will have a viva voce session.
It will be an oral examination covering all the main legal provisions, concepts,
and principles discussed in class.

Course Policies and Guidelines

1. Classes shall be conducted by means of synchronous or


asynchronous activities.

2. Synchronous online class is a real-time/live, structured, and


scheduled delivery of learning content in a virtual classroom between the
teacher and the students. It may be conducted using Zoom or Google Meet
where lectures, recitations, group discussions, and individual presentations or
reporting can be done.

3. Synchronous online sessions shall be regularly conducted during
the schedule assigned to each subject, unless the students are notified and
informed beforehand that a specific schedule shall be utilized for asynchronous
activities.

4. Asynchronous online class is the provision of learning tasks for


students to complete on their own, this is not delivered in person or in real-time.
Asynchronous activities shall be provided to the students from time to time
during the course in order to complement online learning.

5. Quizzes, midterm and final examinations shall be conducted using


the Quia online platform.

6. Recording, taking of screen shots and photocopying of materials


are strictly prohibited during synchronous sessions.

7. Log-in to online classes five minutes before the time. Clear your
study area from any object or material unrelated to the class or subject at hand.
Avoid doing anything that may distract or disturb the conduct of the online
class.

8. Always keep your video open for the duration of the class. On the
other hand, microphones should be turned off unless and until you are required
to speak out in class. Raise your hand if you want to speak, clarify, or ask
questions.

9. Always observe online etiquette, as well as intellectual and


academic honesty.
