1. Ask pupils to name a few dishes from around the world.
I. PRE-LESSON
2. Write pupils’ responses on the board in bubble map form.
1. Activity 1:
 Talk to pupils about the food they can see in the Student’s Book for Activity 3, p.59, using
questions such as Are there any..?
 Distribute worksheet. Play the CD and pause after each conversation so that pupils have
enough time to circle the correct picture. (Track 92)
 Play the CD again and have pupils check their answers.
 Check pupils’ answers by asking the questions in the activity and encouraging pupils to call
out their answers. Encourage full sentences when you feed back.
II. LESSON 2. Activity 2:
DEVELOPMENT  Write the questions on the board:
a) Imagine. What’s in your crepe?
b) What do you want for lunch today/tomorrow?
c) Mime. What are you eating?
 Ask pupils to write short answers to the questions. They should imagine an answer for
questions a and c.
 Erase the questions from the board. Have pupils ask and answer the questions in pairs. Note
that they should mime for question 3. Feed back by asking some pupils to tell the class about
their partner.

III. POST LESSON 1. Guide pupils to complete their learning diaries.
