&KRRVHDFRROHQYLURQPHQW

A working environment between 20°C... 25°C (68°F... 77°F) is required to stay in

the working temperature range of the reagents. Do not install the instrument or
reagentV behind a window exposed to sunlight. Analyses performed at a
temperature outside this range could lead to incorrect results being reported.

DLB5 complies with emission and immunity requirements of EN 61326-2- 6.

Do not use this device in close proximity to sources of strong
electromagnetic radiation (eg RF sources intentionally unprotected), as these
may interfere with proper operation.
It is advisable to carry out an assessment of the electromagnetic

2.3.2 Power connection

Use a ground connection plugged into the mains. A ground plug is essential for the instrument
WRZRUNHI¿FLHQWO\
Perturbed mains or bad ground connection could lead to incorrect results.

IMPORTANT
- The absence of ground connection is DANGEROUS for user safety and for the
intrument electronic parts. Any deterioration to parts of the DLB5 due to a non-
compliant connection will invalidate the warranty on the instrument.
- The socket (see picture #1) is used as main disconnect device and must be easily
accessible.

The leukocyte formula is usually not calibrated out of the ranges set
by the manufacturer. Because Haematology is a subjective science,
a different calibration of this formula is only useful to those whose
results do not match with the ones proposed by default.

- 6DPSOHSUHVHUYDWLRQ :
Whole blood samples are stabile during about 4 hours at room temperature and 24 hours between 2
and 6°C.

- Analysis :
During the analysis, other factors can interfere and modify results.
Room temperature and airing within the workspace are really important for samples as well as for
reagents and can affect results. Then, it is recommended not to place the analysers behind a window,
