TERMS OF REFERENCE

Position Title: Aawaz Aagahi Center Coordinators


Reporting to: District Manager

Duty Station: Kasur / Pakpattan


Project Titled: AAWAZ-II

JOB PURPOSE:
The main tasks involve managing relationships with the Aawaz Aagahi Centres (AACs), Community
Outreach Teams (OTs), Village Forums and supervise local delivery as per agreed targets

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Lead on identification of suitable locations, setting up and operationalization of the AACs and
identification of villages for formation of village forums including conducting dialogues with
communities.
 Act as the point of contact and communication between the organization, Tehsil Aawaz Aagahi
Centres Resource Persons and Community Outreach teams.
 Participate in relevant capacity building activities for the AAC Resource Persons, Outreach Team
members and Aawaz Youth Volunteers.
 Work closely with AAC Resource Persons to prepare Work Plans for AACs and follow up with OTs on
development and implementation of Village Forums Work Plan.
 Coordinate and lead mapping exercise at the Tehsil and Villages level and help AACs prepare referral
directories.
 Support the District Manager in organizing, attending and participating in trainings and forum
meetings and in facilitating meetings where appropriate and document minutes.
 Develop comprehensive project reports, capture success stories and lessons learned and maintain
appropriate documentation for the project activities.
 Maintain database of information such as minutes, pictures, attendance sheets from trainings,
forum meetings, and community dialogues
 Document updates and lessons learnt on project progress against a range of criteria, as required by
the programme in accordance with agreed reporting protocols.
 Provide necessary reporting inputs as per the standard monitoring formats on regular basis. Prepare
monthly and quarterly report on standard, monthly reporting formats.
 Assist District Manager in maintaining relationship with the Social Welfare Department, Labour
Department, Local Government Department and other relevant government structures and
mechanisms.
 Support awareness raising and data collection activities.
 The post holder must ensure compliance with the British Council Safeguarding policy and escalate
all safeguarding concerns to the District Safeguarding Focal Person
 Ensure that all AAC Resource Persons, Outreach teams, VF members, and Aawaz Youth Volunteers
are aware and up to date about safeguarding standards and reporting mechanisms
ELIGIBILITY CRIETRIA:
The role requires a graduation degree in a related field of study and at least two years of relevant
experience in community organisation and participation at the grassroots level. Relevant experience of
thematic areas of child labour and early marriage, GBV is desirable.

To be successful as an AAC Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines; be competent
in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; have exceptional verbal, written, and
presentation skills; and knowledge of files management, transcription, and other administrative
procedures.
