The CaféLog is not just like any other coffee shops that you can find
anywhere. Café Log comes up with a unique way to serve people and make
them feel at ease by making them experience a great way to enjoy.

Since people nowadays are looking for a great place to spend time, and to
relax, CaféLog is an open place for them. It is the very first coffee shop in
Malolos, Bulacan that offers a napping service. It is one of the reasons why
people should come and visit the place.

The CaféLog wants to build a strong market position, not just in town but
also around the province with a perfect location that will suit the business.
Serving with high quality ingredients at a reasonable price, clients will keep
coming back because of the latter reason.

As seen over years, many people are getting drawn to coffee. A business
like this is perfectly combined with a great place/location. The location is
surrounded by different schools which can easily attract the students to come
and go.

While there are many coffee shops offering different services around the
area, the CaféLog has a unique way in serving people. Their advantage to those
is that they offer napping services which is a rare offer for coffee shops. With this,
the customers will find it interesting and they will visit the place right away.

The CafeLog is a service type of business that serves people with


appetizing meals and fragrant smell of coffee that will surely leave them wanting
more. The CafeLog will also be serving people with great ambiance that can
allow them to refresh their minds as they take a sip of our coffee and take a nap
to release the stress they are feeling.
Business Name

The Cafelog is a coffee house which is a good place to go for people who
wanted to unwind and laze around. Cafe is located at #158 Paseo del Congreso
st. City of Malolos Bulacan.This café will be owned by Precious Domingo so
thereby it is a sole proprietorship kind of business management. This would be a
service type of business since it will be offering services such as dining services
and napping services.

Since here in Malolos there were several cafes out there, owner looked
for something new that will make it unique to make people come back, In addition
it is like no other coffee shops because it is open for everyone who wanted to
unwind and remove all their solicitude. In short this is suitable for people who
wanted a work place in a relaxed and inspiring vibe. In some instance, when you
go to some fast foods chains they won’t let you stay too long, The idea came
from the owner who happen to experienced same predicament.

The CafeLog offers a lot of services that will surely satisfy your tummy and
not just relax your mind but also eliminate you stress physically and emotionally.
Our coffee shop was built for the ones who need to relax and enjoy the aroma
and creative taste of our own version coffee. Our shop will offer fifty (50) pesos
entrance fee inclusive of a cup of our unique coffee, unlimited power supply, and
Wi-Fi connection within an hour. The CafeLog will also let you choose your
favorite coffee flavor and appetizing meals from our menu. We aim for an
ambiance that will surely suit your mood and relax your body by amplifying a
relaxing music. The store will be open from 9 a.m.- 9 pm, 7 days a week.

After the success in our business, we plan to modify or innovate our


existing offers that will make our coffee shop subsist for a long time. Our coffee
shop plans to expand and offer more relaxing and enjoyable components. We
plan to add more flavors of our beverages and meals, or innovate the existing
ones. We also plan to add mini games that will entertain the customers while
they study or annihilate excess time.

Vision
The Cafelog intends to change the Filipino’s perception about a regular
cup of coffee and to ensure that every Filipino will taste the cup of coffee that can
nourish one’s soul.

The Cafelog envisions to make your moments more special and to serve
people with great camaraderie and rapport. As well as to have the perfect
ambiance that will suit your feeling and relax your mind. We aim to be the place

The CafeLog offers food that are as appealing as those people see in our
food pictorials. The shop will not only be offering services for your tummy but as
well as services wherein you can fully relax your mind and body. The
management will assure the consistency of the taste and presentation of the
foods to maintain the appetizing effect to customers, also maintain the
equipments to good conditions to avoid delays in food serving and for the
ventilation of the place to preserve the ambiance that the management set for the

IV. Marketing Plan

Product
Most of our customer will surely love our menu. It will surely meet your
expectations and demand. Our product is suitable at any age. We will use light
paint with good combination in the entire shop because it is relaxing to
everyone’s eyes and white color of lights. We will only have little and cute chairs
and table, our space will be filled somehow with beds and pillows. We will also fill
our walls with signage and Christmas lights. Our exterior is resembled like a
bedroom with bed and pillows.
We also have free Wi-Fi for our customers and outlets whenever they want to
charge their gadgets.

Place
Our customers can visit us at #158 Paseo del Congreso st. City of Malolos
Bulacan.Our place is near schools and government & private offices. Our parking
lot can accommodate 3 to 5 cars. You will be very comfortable in our place
because you can take a nap and relax your senses, you can visit us whenever
you are tired and stress. More or less our place is 50 square meters floor area.

Packaging
The packaging of the products will vary between take-out and dined-in
options. The coffee products will be served in coffee mugs however, when taken
out, the products will be served in paper cups with customized design that
projects the shop’s logo, and varies with the size that the customer chose. The
frappe products will be served in mason jars with whipped cream that serves as a
topping. The customers who would want to take out the frappe products will be
served in a plastic cup, also with whipped cream as topping and with customized
design that will also project the shop’s logo. Also, with different sizes that vary
with the customer’s choice. The pastry products will be served in saucers when
eaten inside the café and will be put in a box, depending on the quantity, when
taken out.

The management will require the employers to be in uniforms with hair


nets to maintain the sanitation of the place and the foods. The uniforms will be on
black polo shirt with white linings and the shop’s logo and also on white polo shirt
but with black linings and the shop’s logo. The two types of uniforms will be wore
weekly and alternatively. The hair nets and other proper sanitation will be strictly
regulated. The cleanliness of each employee with themselves will also be strictly
regulated wherein the employees should maintain clean fingernails and
presentable outlook.
Positioning
The CafeLog is not just an ordinary coffee shop that offers your favorite
coffee flavor. This café will not only satisfy your cravings but also let you relax
your senses and that would the unique feature of this shop. The CafeLog will be
the first coffee shop in Bulacan to offer napping services. The management of
the shop knows how important healthy lifestyle is, thus being the first shop to
offer a pasta dish and a salad in one, and will be called “pasta-salads”. These
services and products could be a distinguishing factor against the products of
other competitors.

The Cafelog plans to advertise using social media sites for the business’
target customers are mostly students and everyone are aware on the fact that
technology is widely patronized by large numbers of students however, the
business targets every people not just the students. This shop will also be
promoted through banners and brochures. The management thought that the
target market could be every people because of the unique features of the shop
wherein the customers are free to take a nap and eat not just caffeinated
beverages and food for those with sweet teeth but also those who are into
healthy lifestyle or are vegetarians.

The CafeLog will be placed on a place near schools such as Bulacan


Ecumenical School and La Consolacion Baras Campus with a walking distance
so that the students will be more interested about the said business however, the
other target customers will not be as near as those students but the management
assured that the location of the business is along the road in order for the people
to notice the building easily. The management plans to build a eye-catching
exterior design to surely capture the interest of the people.

The CafeLog will be offering products that are not only served with
appetizing presentation but also with high quality ingredients that will assure the
great taste of the products. Despite the said descriptions, the products will be
sold with affordable prices. Giving the products the justice and attracting more
customers. The management set the prices to be as affordable as possible
because the target market of the shop will mostly be student, considering their
other expenses other than stopping by at the shop.

Promotions

CafeLog will promote its offers and services thru Advertising and Sales
Promotion.
CafeLog will invest thru advertisements. CafeLog will advertise thru Social
Medias as it is more relevant these days. Under the Sales Promotion, CafeLog
will only use the Consumer Schemes. However, the scheme will only be
implemented during peak seasons. CafeLog will offer collectibles that the
customers can get if they bought seasonal drinks/food during the Christmas
Season/ December. CafeLog will also offer freebies in celebration of Valentine's
Day (February 10-18) and Halloween (October-November).
Word of Mouth is also a way of promoting a product. So, CafeLog will
make sure that their customers will leave the store feeling satisfied, refreshed
and ready to start the day ahead.

People
Our target markets are those students and workers who are tired, stressed
and just want to hang out. The people in our team are very trustworthy and
approachable. We also aim to serve not just the students but also people who
are exhausted and need to have some break. The management consists of
people who are reliable and are friendly. The management understands each
people’s need of privacy and silence thus, keeping the place chaotic-free.

The Cafélog is owned by a proprietor named Precious Domingo. The owner may

contribute into make The CaféLog to be the best coffee house in town. On the

other hand, Precious Domingo is to set final decisions and she is to operate as

general managing partner and financial operations. Crucial employees include an

additional manager who will assist in maintaining and reviewing operations of the

cafe, and a chef who will manage kitchen operations.

Additionally, an assistant manager/senior server and a chef/line cook will perform

secondary management functions.


Part-time personnel will be hired to handle bartending, serving, and dishwashing

functions.

Manager

The manager runs the day to day operations from maintaining clean well

stations in the store to supervising the staffs on their jobs. Under its responsibility

also includes developing and training staffs, ensuring high quality of service and

procuring distribution of beverages. He/she is also accountable for profitability of

the store and controlling cost of goods, inventory, labor, expenses, and supplies.

effectively, by doing so, he/she should build a quality team that focuses in

Prepares the ingredients and makes sure that the coffee/ meets the

preference of the customer. Also responsible in keeping the equipment operating

and troubleshoots them if there are problems. He/she is expected to improve

changes in maintaining and improving the appearance of the store.

keep the equipment clean. He/she is also expected to introduce the products to

the customers.

Accountant

Records all transactions happening inside the shop, and should make a

summary of all the expenses and income. He/she is also expected to budget the

supply for the whole year. The accountant is also responsible for recording all the

supply remaining and reports to the manager/ owner, and recommends financial

actions by analyzing the accounting option.

Cook

The cook will work at the kitchen and is also responsible for its safety,

cleanliness and organization. He/she will prepare the ingredients for the pasta

and cook them the way the customers wanted it to be. The cook is also expected

to make new dishes that can captivate the tongues of the customers.

The cook will make the inventory and reports to the manager the supplies

and equipment needed for the food, he/she operates mostly of the equipment

inside the kitchen.

Server

The server is responsible in serving the food for the customers, simply

assisting them in their tables and in carrying the food. The server is also

entering the door.
