1. Display a chant chart from previous lesson.


2. Play the recording. (Track 13)
I. PRE-LESSON 3. Get the pupils do the school objects chant from p.10.
4. Ask pupils to name all of the classrooms objects that they know.
5. Write pupils’ responses on the board in bubble map form.
1. Display flashcards of classroom objects.
2. Point to the pictures.
3. Pupils name the objects aloud.
4. Show pupils how to make a zigzag book.
5. Pupils make the book, following your instructions.
II. LESSON
DEVELOPMENT 6. Pupils draw and label 5 classroom objects.
7. Help with vocabulary as appropriate.
8. Pupils share their books and name the objects in their friends’ books.
9. High level: Have pupils name and talk about the objects using as much vocabulary as they may
have.
10. Display pupils’ work in the classroom.
1. Blindfold a pupil. Put, e.g. a pen, in his/her hand.
2. Say What’s this? The pupil guesses.
III. POST LESSON
3. Repeat with other objects.
4. Pupils play in pairs, closing their eyes rather than using a blindfold.
