MINUTES OF THE 1ST REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF CAMAMBUGAN,

STA.BARBARA, ILOILO HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON DECEMBER 2, 2018 AT 9:00 A.M.

The meeting was called to order by the Presiding Officer at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
A minute of prayer was led by Kristy Soriano.
Since there was an attendance sheet being signed by the members as they come inside
the session hall and the presence of a quorum was determined, the roll call was dispensed with
The minutes of the previous session dated November 18, was read. There being no
corrections offered, on motion of SB Member Ganat and was duly seconded by SB Member
Suacillo, the minutes of the previous session was adopted.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
1. SB Member Ganat reported that the improvement of the DCC project was completed.
2. SB Member Maylen Medez reported that the MIWD personel visited last Friday and
brought boaster pump. It was confirmed that the wiring of boaster pump will be attached to
Mr. Alex Sudario’s residence. MIWD will come back next week.
3. Committee of Women’s and Family Affairs was assigned to SB Member Maylen

Medez. Punong Barangay said that Hon. Medez will call a meeting to reorganize Women’s and
Family Affairs Officers, and list will be submitted to Vice Mayor Rema Somo.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. LIGA Night will be attended by the Barangay Officials. Assembly time is 6:00 PM. at
Covered Gym.

2. 20% Development Fund 2019
During the reviewing of BDP, it was found out by the Budget Officer that
Agricultural Services and Brgy. Tanod device, tools and equipment cannot be included in the
20% BDF. The Sangguniang Barangay Members agreed that P10,000 for Agricultural Services
will be added to Brgy. Road Concreting and P20,000 for Brgy. Tanod Devices and tools and
Equipment will be added to the improvement of MPH. On motion of SB Member Suacillo and
was duly seconded by SB Member De Leon.
BUSINESS FOR THE DAY:
1. SB Member Suacillio suggested to the body that the excess ready mixed of DCC
project of more or less 1 cu. m.; he will buy it for P 400.00
On motion of SB Member Ganat and unanimously seconded, that the excess ready
mixed to be sold to SB Member Suacillo at P400.00.
2. The IPPO will Conduct Illegal Drug Awareness Reduction and Education (IDARE), “TO
RUN 2 2018” on December 15, 2018 starting line at Pavia Plaza. There is sponsorship to select
for; the body agreed to choose PATRON at P500.00. SB Member Suacillo suggested that the
P400.00 cost of ready mixed plus P100.00 from the barangay fund with the total of P500.00 will
be used to sponsor the “FUN RUN”, unanimously seconded.
3. LGU, Sta. Barbara Activity
1. Sadsad sa Paskua
(Street Dance Competition)
Composed of:
1. Maximum of 20 Dancers
2. Maximum of 20 Musicians
Prizes:
1st - 10,000.00
2nd - 7,000.00
3rd - 5,000.00
4th - 4,000.00
On the motion of SB Member Suacillo duly seconded by SB Member De Leon,

that our barangay will not join the activity.
4. Barangay Christmas Party
Sangguniang Barangay decided that the Christmas Party will be held at MPP on
Dec. 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM. The body agreed to contribute P500.00 except Punong Barangay will
contribute P1,000.00

Tinapay
Juice
Christmas Party will be finalized on next meeting.
5. Parol making contest will be participated by SB Member Rodrigo Sondia. He was

asking for the support of the council for the Christmas Lights. The August body agreed to
contribute P50.00 each for the Christmas Lights of the parol. P50.00 will be conducted on
December’s honorarium.
6. The foul smell from the lot owned by Dr. Asuncion Lucero. The neighbor of said lot
complained of the foul smell. The body of the Sangguniang Barangay decided to invite Dr.
Lucero in the Sanguniang Barangay Special meeting on Dec. 15, 2018 at 9:00 AM.
OTHER MATTERS:
1. Do day at Communal Garden on Dec. 6. Thursday (Making Trail for Pipino)
2. Do day on Dec. 2, 2018 Cleaning along the road at Zone 4-Zone 6 to be cooperated
by the Barangay Tanod and Barangay Council.
There being no more topics to be discussed, on motion of SK Chairman Eden Mae

Gorantes and duly seconded by SB Member De Leon, the meeting was adjourned at 11: 30 AM.
