WEEKLY NARRATIVE REPORT

NOVEMBER 05, 2020
PROVINCE OF AURORA
MUNICIPALITY OF SAN LUIS

As stated by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the

coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the
greatest challenge we have faced since World War II. This pandemic exposed the
struggle of our country to a health care system that will secure the lives of every Filipino
and also heightens the socio-economic crisis existing. Knowing that providing all the
needs of the citizens at all times is a real challenge to local government units such as the
Municipality of San Luis, it is important to awaken the instilled discipline to Filipinos in
order to follow the guidelines and health protocols set by the Department of Health
(DOH) and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious
Diseases (IATF-MEID).
PART I
The Municipality of San Luis has been following and advocating the minimum
health standards to its citizens in every program and activity held in the municipality.

The highlighted activities mentioned above contributed to the DISIPLINA MUNA
NATIONAL ADVOCACY campaign especially now that it was refocused towards
defeating the COVID-19 Pandemic. All the actions taken during each activity followed
the BIDA which became the call to easily follow the minimum health standards. The LGU
is making sure of promoting the use of face masks/ face shields, sanitizing hands and
the surroundings, and physical distancing. The LGU’s official facebook page
@Municipality of San Luis, Aurora became the venue for the citizens to see facts on what
the government is working to resolve the problems brought by the pandemic as well as
the information on how they can help and participate to activities and programs within
the municipality.
PART III
The DISIPLINA MUNA CAMPAIGN is an effective tool to simplify the call of the
