TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I love the Spanish language and culture. This has been the case ever since I had exposure to the language in
elementary school. Therefore, I chose to become a Spanish teacher to share my passion for the language and
culture in hopes of sparking that same passion and energy into my students. I have many goals as I enter into the
teaching profession. A few of them include coming to class prepared every day to present my lessons in a clear and
meaningful way, and provide support and guidance to my students. Learning a foreign language is not an easy
task. It is my mission to lessen that difficulty. I have had teachers along my educational journey that have shaped
and influenced me in many positive ways and I hope to do the same for my students.
