The Weis Wave Chart indicatorr is plotted on the sam

The Weis Wave Volu

Inputs
The following input variables are used to determine how these indicators are plotted.
(The Weis Wave Volume indicator does not have all of the inputs listed below.)
HPrice(Close): To base the waves upon the highs and lows of a bar, set this to High.
To base the waves upon the closing price of a bar, set this to Close.
LPrice(Close): To base the waves upon the highs and lows of a bar, set this to Low.
To base the waves upon the closing price of a bar, set this to Close.
RetraceMethod(2): This input must be set to either 1, 2, or 3 to setup the method
used to define when a wave changes direction:
1 = The Retrace input is interpreted as a percent of price and the wave
direction changes when the price retraces a percentage of the price given
by the Retrace input. The value, 5, would be interpreted as 5%.
2 = The Retrace input is interpreted as price directly and the wave
direction changes when the price retraces by the price difference given by
the Retrace input. The value, 0.75, would be interpreted as 0.75 points.
3 = The Retrace input is interpreted as a multiple of Average True Range
(ATR) and the wave direction changes when the price retraces by the
multiple of ATR given by the Retrace input. The value, 1.8, would be
interpreted as 1.8 * ATR.
Retrace(0.75): This input specifies the value to be used in the above retrace methods.
ScaleVolumeBy(1000): The volume numbers plotted on the screen are the actual
volume numbers divided by this number.
PlotSwings(TRUE): Make this TRUE to plot the swings, FALSE to suppress plotting.
PlotDetect(FALSE): Make this TRUE to plot a dot on the bar at which the reversals
are detected, FALSE to suppress plotting these.
PlotMinutes(FALSE): Make this TRUE to plot the duration in minutes of the last
swing in text on the price chart, FALSE to suppress plotting these.
PlotVolume(TRUE): Make this TRUE to plot the volume of the last swing in text on
the price chart, FALSE to suppress plotting these. The value plotted is in thousands
of shares/contracts.
If both of these are set to TRUE, then both will be plotted with the duration in
minutes plotted first.
UpColor(DarkGreen): The color to be used to plot the up‐swings.
2
DnC
Color(Red): The color tto be used tto plot the d
down‐swin
ngs.
TextColor(Black): The colo
or to be useed to plot th
he text.

If you get the error message, “WeisWave Password Expired”, that usually means that
the PCID code for your computer has changed for some reason. This can happen if you
make a major change in the hardware or software configuration, such as add a new
hard disk or reinstall the operation system.
If that occurs, runs the Change Password program again as described above and see
what the current PCID code is. If it is the same as before, the old password should still
work. If it has changed or if the old password does not work, then please contact us at:
<[email protected]>.
