❑ The Placement Cell of the college is committed to providing students with
training and professional opportunities throughout their academic career.
❑ The Placement Cell maintains contact with various industry sources, organises
on-campus training and recruitment and informs the students about
opportunities for placement.
❑ The Placement Cell also provides the students various avenues to develop
their professional and personal skills in order to prepare them for
recruitments. In the past, the Cell has organised workshops for the holistic
development of the students; to prepare them for the challenges of the
professional world.
❑ Education consultants are also invited to speak to the students about higher
education in Indian and foreign universities. Our recruiters include– Ernst and
Young, KPMG, Wipro, Teach for India, Tresvista.

CAREER GUIDANCE SERIES
The Placement Cell initiated a new and innovative way to help the students train better
for future placements and to guide them in their career options through ‘CAREER
GUIDANCE SERIES’.
We conducted seven sessions on the topics:
❑ ‘Higher Education Abroad’ on 25th September 2018

❑ ‘Group Discussion and Personal Interview’
❑ Session on ‘Aptitude test’
❑ Session on ‘Jobs Vs Higher Education’ conducted by Miss Srividhya from
Talerang.
❑ CV/resume building session conducted by Abhijeet Singh from Stepvue.
❑ Career counselling session conducted by Mr. Jitin Chawala, Alumni of FMS Delhi.
❑ Higher Education Opportunities in India session conducted by Mr. Jitin Chawala,
Alumni of FMS Delhi
RECRUITMENT DRIVES:
❑ Apart from conducting insightful seminars, the cell was also involved with on-
campus placements.
❑ Companies like KPMG, Wipro, Tresvista, EY, ISA Global, Gandhi

Fellowship, FIS, Publice Groupe, Planet Spark, Inshorts, MBA Trek Pvt.
Ltd. recruited students in the session 2019- 2020. The session kick-started with
EY visiting the campus for the purpose of recruitment.
❑ Our average package in placements was recorded as 4 lakhs p.a with the
highest package going for 6.4 lakhs by Tresvista.
INTERNSHIP DRIVES:
❑ Internship wing witnessed a massive success with more than 35
companies providing summer and winter internships in varied
profiles and hence enhancing their skill set and providing
exposure
❑ Some of our major recruiters were Yes foundation, Consumer

India, Gobarefoot, Times Group, Umeed, Glinks
International, Quikkloan, Decathlon etc.
❑ 110+ students secured an internship in various companies.
❑ Most the these opportunities have been accompanied with a

good stipend with top companies. The highest stipend was
offered by YesFoundation & Decathlon of Rs.10000, followed
by Gobarefoot at Rs.8000.

PHOENIX’20:INTERNSHIP FAIR
❑ In January 2020, we launched the first edition of the internship fair . With more
than 35+ companies onboard , the fair witnessed a large participation from
colleges across Delhi University.
❑ Participating companies included Outlook, Decathlon, The Times Group, Red

Dot Foundation, Umeed, AIESEC, Teach For India and Book My PG among
others.
